I wonder if seeing Boogie go for a bag of skittles had anything to do with Mitch getting canned
that had to be the final straw or it doesnt make sense to fire them now

i think Woj said the final 2 offer's were between the Lakers and Pelicans for Boogie too

The top players in this draft that I think the Lakers should consider are: *names 11 players*

So does this move take magic off of espn? Dont see how he can be president of opearations and still work espn/abc.

What would cousins do for us. We have so much dead weight. We'd lose our draft pick and wouldn't be able to sign anyone.
Same situation he was in over in Sacramento

Magic gonna be tweeting about his decisions like Trump.

"Just got off the phone with _____ and he DOESN'T want to come to THE LAKERS in FA. Sad!"

Outside of being a hothead on the court at times Boogie hasn't done anything crazy at all. You would think he was Dennis Rodman or something. Boogie isn't wanted by certain "Execs" because those same execs love mediocrity & players who won't call them out on their ****ups.

Boogie won't hold his tongue for some old exec & they fear that.
Naw its facts that he also doesnt respect alotta of his teamamtes and coaches...the type to get scored on and yell at his teammate on the other side of the court if he in that kinda mood

Yup

I personally would hate to play with someone as negative and ill-tempered as him.

Y'all need to stop blaming it on the kings too. He's always been this way

Russ kind of is to at times but he's also always extremely congratulatory and complementary towards them when they do good, more than he is negative at times, and it's usually more directed towards the world/everything than just being so mad because a player missed a shot. Still, winning changes everything. If Cousins was on a winning team and had the exact same temperament, it'd be called passion and leadership and holding guys accountable.

We shall see.

I'm not so sold on that pairing, but if that is all it takes to get him, why not? Squeak into the playoffs, get 2 home games most likely, hopefully win 1 for the fans on the home floor. Then again, nobody goes to games there, including all star games.

So i'm not gonna trade for a top 10 player in the league just entering his prime because he he's gotten frustrated with some of his bumass teammates or didn't take direction from a coach who was more than likely bad also.

Talent>>>> being beloved by the 12th man. He produces phenominally on the court and seems to be a fan favorite, but "execs" wouldn't take him for free. these are probably the same execs who will dish out 70 million for a player to be a nice "lockeroom" guy. Give me that ******* with generational talent over the nice guy who is gonna sooth everyones mood while we continuously lose.

Also i must say that Boogie's friction with teammates have all seemed to come with guys who were barely hanging on to the roster.

Just a week after ESPN brought Magic on to all their morning shows and where Magic trashed Mitch/Buss..

Writing was on the wall
