Meh, Dipo's splits with Russ off court have been pretty bad and he isn't a good enough ballhandler or creator to be backup point (low AST % last I checked). We need a real backup PG. Of course, Russ is going to play 40 mpg in the playoffs, but the dropoff going to the bench is so hard we have routinely seen Russ come out at the 3:00 mark in the 1st with an 8 pt lead, come back in at the 10:00 mark of the 2nd down 10. Semaj is Kendrick Perkins all over again.
Even though I'm not a Dipo fan I think Splits are bad for Dipo in that role for good reason
Dipo backup PG > Jennings

I would def take Nate, Cole, Chalmers right now, though.
I love Jennings, just not for OKC.
UTAH should get him.

I got killed for saying the Rose trade was terrible.

I'd love to have Lopez back. He was a perfect fit next to Porzingis.
"he better the what you've had, why you complaining "

" Rose going to ball out, he wants to get paid ".

Heard a lot of dumb ish like that.

Did you see that link I posted last night that had all the West remaining schedule and strength of? Rockets was really really really really tough compared to the rest of the West, and toughest of all 30 teams (and it was by a long shot)
Which is why I feel like if we can take care of business, the 3 seed is still in play for us.

I got killed for saying that a guy who hasn't been good in 5 years would continue to not be good. I was told it was just the double vision from getting hit in the face last year. Wonder what the excuse will be now.

Rose is putting up 17 & 4 on 46% from the floor, most teams will gladly take that production. He's no longer a star player but he can absolutely still be valuable ESPECIALLY if he gets waived. Phil is just trying to Ensure that this team locks into a lottery spot. in the past week he's tried to trade Courtney Lee, Reportedly cutting BJ, D-Rose, & suddenly Noah is gonna sit it down for the rest of the season. This ain't exactly been the most stable place.

46% from the floor does not tell the whole story when he can't shoot threes and doesn't get to the line often. His TS is under 52%. He also can't guard a chair and isn't a very good playmaker.

Well, yea...that too.

I don't think Rose is a starter anymore, on a good team anyway.

He doesn't pass, doesn't score efficiently, doesn't play defense.

All of this is so weird since he's still an elite athlete. His game shouldn't have fallen off a cliff like this.

Easily the most baffling thing I've seen in basketball this year.

I've watched a fair share of Knicks games this season & he's not nearly as bad a playmaker as people make him out to be, he's average at it. I'm not saying that Rose can be the best player on a contending team. I'm saying that he can absolutely be a good addition to a team as long as the fit is right.

He should be looking at a sixth man role to close this year out.

Rose should sign with a terrible team, no pressure and get all the volume. Produce and get your confidence back without the pressure of Chi or NYK. Be a looter in a riot and go a situation where there's no expectations
