Washington, who must waive a player for arrival of Brandon Jennings, still hasn't decided who that player will be, league sources tell ESPN.

Can you safely read btw lines on that news on Burke? Probably. Absence confirmed by team official #WizRaptors

No player whose team was 4th seed or below has ever won MVP since the media started voting for the award, starting with the 1980-81 season. In fact, the last time a 3rd seed team player won it was all the way back in 1987-88 (Michael Jordan). Maybe they would give it to Westbrook IF he climbs up to 4th seed, but anything below I don't think he has a shot.

That's not how the award works. A player who can make a 20 win team into a 50 win team still has less chance of winning the MVP than a player who can make a 50 win team into a 60 win team, even though the first might make a 30 win difference and the second only a 10 win difference.

Bulls were tied for the 7th best overall record in the league that season, but got 50 wins. The seeding won't hold as much weight this season if all the 4-7 teams have 50 wins. I don't think there's any conceivable way Russ finishes outside the top 2 and if the win total between OKC & HOU

completely forgot trey went top 10.

now he's a fringe guy.

McCollum went right after him

I woulda drafted CJ just off that Duke game tbh

If you didn't feel the pain and agony when Derek fisher hit that shot then you can't jump on

All these years later and it Still hurts :smh:
As a Lakers fan I celebrated that shot... feels good even today. But I need the West to win it all this year so if kd not healthy by then I gotta rep the klaw

kawhi is the only superstar that guards the opposing team's best player lol
Kawhi's defense has gone way south this season though. Compared to his last two seasons, at least:

2014-15 defensive rating: 96

2015-16 defensive rating: 96

2016-17 defensive rating: 102

2014-15 defensive box plus/minus: 3.5

2015-16 defensive box plus/minus: 2.8

2016-17 defensive box plus/minus: 1.2

Obviously, this is because he focuses on offense way more. His current season is a testament at how amazing players like Jordan and Olajuwon were back in the day for truly dominating on both ends of the floor.

No you don't. Have you seen Burke play this year? The fact that Jennings is seen as a MAJOR upgrade should be enough for you to know.

I watch every Wizards game .

Burke isn't good....but that should tell you how low I am on Brandon Jennings now
