In my personal opinion, Conley could play like that every game if needed, but it's not, so he doesn't.

Yep, but then you have people like Chester calling him Jeff Teague  .

As a matter of fact, Conley is having a better season than John Wall right now as well. If you want to go by what's happening so far through 10-11 games --

Tier 1
CP3 / Harden / Westbrook / Curry

Tier 2
Kemba /Lillard / Conley / Wall

Who's the most underrated player in the NBA?

Kemba right now.

Kyrie not in a tier doe?

Kemba out here putting up numbers better than everyone's favorite PG's and no one saying a word.

That's how underrated he is.

Not sure if its sustainable, but he's balling out

klay prolly figure he's getting traded so he's like 'f it, guess I'll be going out like stone cold.'

These are based off starters and guys who have played at least 9 games so far.

So, if you ask me, the best PG's so far this season have been Harden, Russ, CP3, Kemba, Curry, Conley, Lillard, Zeke and Wall. All are playing at a high level with Russ, Cp3, Kemba and Curry standing away from the others.

I thought we already established last year that Conley ain't better than Dame or Kyrie?

We still talking about last season?

If we going off the past, I thought the last playoff series between Conley and Lillard said enough about how much better Lillard is.

Like I said, rankings change all the time. This season you have players in different roles and performing differently than usual.

I look forward to the day Conley can put up 20 shots and score 25+ with a 32% usage. But, just not happening. I think he shows he's very capable of scoring the basketball, though.

Coach/GM ain't thinking about fans feelings. Their jobs are on the line and they're trying to do what they can to extend their careers/legacies in the league. If resting Lebron/Duncan/Parker/etc. for a meaningless regular season game means they'll be a tad bit more fresher when the playoffs roll around, then their reasons are justified. Simple as that. These guys' bodies take a beating. Someone like Lebron who is 32 has 14 years experience and a ton or wear/tear on him. Any extra rest he can get only benefits the team. No one cares about your feelings.

So Kareem didn't have wear and tear playing 20 years? Or Kobe playing 17 years before his Achilles injury?

I went less than a year back...you're going like a whole two years back. You talk about tiers as if Dame ain't pushing closer to that # 1 tier. All good, we'll pull this up throughout the season to see where Conley ranks in comparison to Dame. Pretty confident Dame will prove again and again that he's better than Conley.

conley might not give you the numbers like the rest of those PGs, but he can definitely hold his own.

[thread="654406"]It's crazy because you have guys like Russell Westbrook who are Ironmen and others like Anthony Davis who are just more prone to injury.  Not everyone can be a cyborg like Kobe [/thread]

guys like stockton, payton, malone will never come around. the durability and sustain excellence throughout their careers

But, you are comparing a season in which Conley was obviously injured to Lillard. That's not a fair comparison at all.

I'll love for both teams to meet in the playoffs again, though. Lillard is great at what he does. He can score the basketball with anybody. I'll put respek on his name

Lillard been so bad defensively this year that its offsetting his great offense.

Fair point homie. I can rock with you on that. Like i said though, we'll revisit this later on in the season.
