So we just gonna ignore injury prone, under-performing Parsons deserve that $22 mill a year ? I was being sarcastic about the white privilege but homie sure as hell don't deserve no $22 mill a year. Hell he even robbed the Mavs. I understand the cap raise and all that but got damn his agent is the finesse kid

You can look at a ton of guys this offseason and say they didn't deserve the money.

Look at what Solomon Hill got -- a player who is probably a career 8th man on a playoff team

There are so many players who probably wouldn't even start on most teams that got paid $30-40MM over 3-4 years.

At this point, no one knows what Parsons will be this year. If he was 100% healthy and playing like trash, then I'll understand. But, some need to consider what he did once he got healthy last year in Dallas. I don't think many people would call 17.1 ppg on 51% FG / 45% 3PT not worthy of getting a lot of money in the market. If he ends up performing somewhat close to that starting in Dec/Jan and helping us solidify a top 4 seed then what?

At the same time, this could very well crash down on Memphis. He could get hurt again or end up never being the same player he once was. Just a risk you have to take considering our circumstances. I think our number 1 priority was to try and get Batum, but Charlotte locked him up so fast. If we don't get Parsons, we lose Conley and Marc probably ends up wanting out. We lack the picks to start a true rebuild over the next 2-3 seasons, so that plan was dead in the water.

Idk where you got those numbers from but I feel it I just see some teams are desperate than others I suppose.

Two month span.

Parsons knew what he was doing, did the same **** to Morey so **** him.

Prior mistakes from Grizz management forced them into this.

What we have going right now is the best thing to happen to us. We're developing youth over the next 2-3 years while remaining a playoff team with a chance to seriously compete. We were not blowing the team up without any picks. I was more upset that we didn't start this process 2 years ago when we brought Joerger in. He was suppose to develop our young guys and still keep us competitive. But, we overloaded the team with vets and overplayed our core guys into they became injury prone.

So, this is why you see the minute restrictions and this is why when you watch the games, you'll see more guys under 26 in the rotation than ever before. This is also why you see our style changing somewhat. Younger players can adapt to this style more than simply grinding games out to death lol. We need Deyonta Davis, Wade Baldwin, Andrew Harrison and/or Jarell Martin to turn into players.

Wiggins playing no more than he has since his rookie season.. Right around 35-36mpg. Wiggins took off from Team Canada to work on his game all offseason and it's showing

MJ/Kobe and them old school cats played 40 a night 10+ straight seasons.

DeRozan is fourth in the league in PER with 30

***** sold his soul to the basketball gods.

Million Dollar Mike Conley is 20th with 24.

Money looking justified for those two so far.

the illuminati immediately adopted them after they cashed out. provided them with all sorts of powers that even the basketball gods couldn't even give them.

The game against the Sixers was a blowout too, no way Wiggins should have played that long

Nah he almost screwed Morey over, but ended up screwing Cuban. As much as im a fan of his, that as a bullet dodged on both money and knee surgeries

He would have been worth that $46 million if we ended up getting Bosh(which still could happen lol).  Ariza is good for what he is, but missing Parsons was a huge reason why the Dwight experiment didn't work out.
