Iman "Dj Esco" Shumpert

Honestly

Russ has such a bad team, I'm amazed he could even average 10 APG with that team

He also has pretty much the worst starting player in the last 15 years starting at small forward

Somehow it'd be nice for Milsap to go to OKC

Chris HaynesESPN.com

Atlanta Hawks power forward Paul Millsap will opt out at the end of the season and become an unrestricted free agent, league sources tell ESPN.

View media item 2283634I like the argument, if Russ averages a triple double he has to get it! Like Harden isn't 28/12/8. Is Russ' two more rebounds a game more impressive than Harden's two more assists?

Anthony Davis, primarily a power forward throughout his NBA career, on the move to playing without a traditional center next to him for a single minute the past three games (all wins): "I try to do whatever I have to do. I don't mind playing the 5 with the small lineup, because I know it's been helping us. Just sacrifice for the team. At the 5 you probably won't get the ball as much, won't score as much, but we're winning so I really don't care."

You've been one of the absolute most anti-advanced stats dudes on here for as long as I can remember... until now when you bust out an OMAF-like stat to support Westbrook. You never miss a chance to **** on any advanced stat that says anything good about "CP0" though.
This place is becoming unbearable.

Its really just a back and forth with people who have EXTREME biases for and against different players. Every player A vs. player B discussion just turns into "let me throw out all logic, contradict myself, and be irrational for whichever player I like more"

Trade season getting juicy.

Paul Milsap
Cousins

Goran Dragic
Rubio
Gay
B. Knight
Noel
Greg Monroe

Kosta Koufus
Wilson Chandler
Kenneth Faried
Will Barton

----------------------------

My personal wish list:
Milsap ends up with the Raptors (and stays)
Cousins ends up with the Celtics for the Nets pick + filler

The east will be so much more interesting with Boston and Toronto improving this much

Goran or Rubio to end up a Spur
Noel to end up with the Blazers

trading season can't happen soon enough!

Washington needs to make a move to nab one of these guys. Maybe Wilsin Chandler as a stretch 4, I don't know if they have anything to give up though.

I don't know if it's possible at all but I'd like teams to keep Brandon Knight away from Cleveland at all costs

The Cavs can have Lou Williams for anyone plus a pick.

Edit:

Lou, TRob for Done-leavy, Mo and a future pick makes sense.

This is so untrue though, from my viewpoint.

There is less of that there has been since I joined in 2013.

This is the best I have ever seen the thread, tbh.

Can they get him?

Holy ****.

edit: nevermind just saw the "it would take Shumpert"

I wouldn't do that.

I'd rather have Shumpert than Knight, in that system.

My thinking was if Cleveland felt Jordan McRae could replace Shumpert in the rotation that they'd be willing to part with him if it meant they could get a legit 6th man/bench scoring in Knight.

Obviously if PHX can find a better player than Shumpert for Knight, they do it. Maybe throw in a future draft pick to entice it.
