Yup. I just never thought late draft picks held much value anyway. Now he's got 4 more picks next draft and at least 2 stash players to worry about from this past draft. Arrested development out the anus. They need to just let Jaylen flourish, I actually like the kid and wouldn't have been mad if the Lakers took him had they landed at 3. Now he has to fight for minutes with crowder, young and green who they signed for some bizarre reason. I would've changed my tune had they traded for nerlens but they seem hell bent on cashing out Gordon Hayward.

I'd rather keep James Young vs RJ, though. James can shoot, defend and has sneaky athleticism. Sucks that they had to cut RJ instead of Bentil or Demetrius Jackson but they just drafted them a few months ago. Jaylen has me kinda' optimistic about Boston's future cause we had to get athletic and Jaylen flys down the court and out the gym. Dude is an athlete.

The NBA Season Thread's 1st Contest
- I plan on running contests and raffles throughout this NBA season for our "beloved" members in the thread. I'm open to suggestions throughout the season, and there will be random raffles each month.
- First up, we're going to do a MS Paint contest. Submit your best/worst efforts on anything NBA related from this past season or upcoming season. Want to draw D'Angelo snitching on teammates? Go for it. Lebron with the chase down block? Yup. Dwight Howard finding new baby mama's in a new city? Sounds good. Whatever you want, post it in the thread and we can all take a vote on which one we like best. Winner and runner-ups will get a prize for their efforts.

I'll take submissions until the end of the week or until they stop coming in.

Let's see what we got.

Edit: Because of work, I know I won't be as active on a daily basis, so this will make up for that

Whats the shock here? Like Jalen Rose always says there are only 30 of those gm jobs and drafting a player that doesnt work at his craft can cause you yours. This is probably at the bottom of the list of things said to players.

MKG will just never be a consistent shooter like this man

cant multi quote or some reason but this should tell you all you need to know about kentucky basketball. And why people like Kobe and Pat Bev despise AAU ball so much. Its amazing how he made it to the highest level of his craft and not one coach had the guts to correct this foolishness.

Took the advice of squaring up to the basket... and just apparently threw that allllll the way out the window.  

His left hand is protecting the ball from being projected forward while his right hand is projecting the ball forward.

Drastically changing your shooting form is REALLY hard. They've been working on his shot for a long time. I'm sure the shoulder injuries didn't help the development.

Some guys just can't get it. Every tweak throws something else off. Muscle memory isn't easy.

Curry was shooting like a girl on the catholic school team until he was a sophomore in HS.

MKG was at one of the best HS basketball programs in the nation and went to UK, **** don't make any sense.

Not only do I believe that MKG shoots the way he does because that's the way he wants, but I actually think it's fairly naive to think that NO ONE tried to correct his shot considering the quality of coaches he has had.

The Rockets attempted to change up Kevin Martin's awkward shooting motion. He ended up injuring himself and taking dips in all his stats
