$150 Million Dollar Mike been balling, bhz saved all the quotes from the offseason thread.

Also, Whiteside is going to be an absolute monster
this year with so much more usage.

He gonna have games where he's 27/24/5.

BTW, Whiteside is scary. This is why I'm not sure about Jordan being the #1 center in the league. You have about 3 other guys capable of making a similar impact on different teams who are forced to be more effective as a top option. I realy wish we could've saw Jordan in Dallas just to see if he could live up to the hype without CP3.

Remember when Chris Paul made people think Tyson chandler was a top center?

Chandler went from CP3 to playing with Carlisle and Kidd tho

But, I'm not saying DJ isn't good. I just don't think he's as good as that survey made him out to be. Saying he's the #1 center in the league considering who he's up against is pretty big time. I guess its just a preseason survey, though. 1 or 2 months in, I'm expecting it to change.

In regards to Jordan, I think there's a lot of value in a center that can do all the things he can on the court AND not miss games.

So I can't blame anyone for placing him #1.

Oh, I wasn't being sarcastic. I never thought Chandler was as good as advertised. Then the "championship pedigree" started after Dallas won. I don't think DJ is better than Cousins, Dwight, or a sane Whiteside. He fits this team perfectly doe. Would have been rough seeing him try to score in Dallas

After CP3, Chandler was the anchor on a championship team and then won DPOY?

Dudes always credit the PGs for getting big men alleys and dunks but the elite finishing bigs usually flourish with even average guards.

For sure, he's super durable but FT shooting is a PROBLEM.

Other guys have already made strides in that like Gobert and Whiteside.

Even if Conley does have a really great season, chances are it will only last for 2 years. Year 3 of his contract will be brutal if he declines like I'm expecting him to.

He's just gotta keep improving his shooting really, that's going to be the main thing that will make his decline easier.

If he can become a consistent 40% catch and shoot guy, they can build a system where it works.

If Fizdale really plans on using Chandler as a point forward type.

These GMs sayin McCaw and Dejounte are the biggest steals but they didn't draft them  :smh:

It's really not that hard to throw lobs to athletic freaks and let them go up and get it. Cp3 has had this luxury his entire career..

You'll see it eventually when they blow up the Clippers after this season.

Westbrook would be a fool if he decided to stay long term in OKC. At some point he'll get tired of the losing and will leave, just like everyone predicted. Go to the Lakers and run that team Russell.
