Westbrook would be a fool if he decided to stay long term in OKC. At some point he'll get tired of the losing and will leave, just like everyone predicted. Go to the Lakers and run that team Russell.

Pointless to go to a perennial lottery team with only one good player that plays the same position

That man just talking.....Now that KD left first he can say these things. He makes it seem like he resigned multi years or something. Just one more year basically.

yup. Just like Kobe was ecstatic for life after Shaq till reality hit and being the man on a first round and out playoff team got old. #mambablood

No Lakers though. Somewhere else.

firstly, define "losing"?

secondly, why the lakers of all teams?

because russ went to the thunder and gave them a him or KD ultimatum...
who said that he did.
you equated it to the situation with kobe and shaq, in which shaq was traded (and it is intimated that kobe played a role in that)..

Durant made the choice to leave as a free agent.. russ sat in meetings/had dinner with KD trying to get him to stay.. and now he's dealing with the situation at hand

my point is he thinks he good enough to win with this team without Durant. Nothing to do with how he or lost his other half.
Kobe thought it was going to Be cake and he would win without Shaq then started crying for help when reality hit and he realized nba life without a second star on your squad is hard.

Russ gonna leave in the next 2 years. If he was this ride or die loyal soldier, he would've locked in long term. He's just not gonna be a bad guy when he walks.

Don't really care where Westbrook ends up long-term, but I think it's cool he's sticking with OKC (granted he's likely doing it for the monetary reasons).

It's crazy THAT KD is still trying to explain himself for this.

Gonna read that Westbrook and the Kd rolling Stone piece shortly.

yup.. dude could and more importantly SHOULD learn a thing or two from westbrook about this.. all the opportunities to make comments and respond to all the implications being made about and towards him, he keeps it blunt

he seems legit like the one who has moved on and dealing with the current situation.. even with the "that's cute" comment, look at the rest of the quote:

"My job is to worry about what’s going on here, we’re going to worry about all the selfish guys we’ve got over here, apparently.”

you say this as if the thunder are a depleted team and wont be able to do things going forward..

presti drafts well and has the following players under the age of 25: adams, kanter, oladipo, sabonis, payne, Roberson and payne (albrines too, who should be a solid 3 point shooter at the least)

nah. They aren't contenders with that roster though, that's a first round exit roster right there.

maybe Blake or some other star will be going to Okc In the near future.. Who knows but if nobody of that caliber goes to Okc i would expect him to want out in a couple years.

"nah" to what?

and did I call them a contender?

and I'm still waiting for a response to this:
