Y'all tripping thinking Bron will/should go for more MVP's rather than rest during the season before turning into Captain Cleveland in the playoffs.

I'm 100% sure he feels he can beat the Warriors even with KD especially in their first year playing together.

He doesn't have to "go" for it for him to win the MVP though.

If he goes 25/7/6 and the cavs hit 58-60 wins, he's right there for the MVP and would be ahead of KL.

23/7.8/3.5/2 on 48% shooting "taking a dive" than you living in your own world.

This what happens when you don't look at the big picture . For one, I meant relative to his per 36 against the grizz which dudes were on here hyping up. Another thing, I said big minutes. He had great stats in game 1 v. Okc but he only played 21 minutes. After that he had 3 games shooting below 40%, the spurs lost all 3 of those games and he struggled down the stretch. You can say he had pretty stats overall but take an in depth look and it tells a different story. He didn't sustain his production in limited minutes against an injured team and no player should reasonably be expected to.

Game 3 - 39 minutes, 31-11-3, 1 steal, 1 block, 3 TO, 53% shooting
Game 6 - 39 minutes, 26-6-4, 4 steals, 1 TO, 57% shooting

These were his two best games of the series

Nvm, I think I know what you're saying in regards to PER36 stats. He "should" have had something like 40-13-6 . If people use PER36 like that I agree it's ridiculous

Dude brings this up every month or so. It's just a random hate for the PER36 stat. He stays using Kawhi (and a tiny sample size) as an example when he actually proves the stat is pretty legit

Ehhh, while this may be true, you can't really deny it if Lebron is at 25/7/6 and the cavs are like 62-20 or something, which is very possible. What I'm saying is Lebron definitely could very well win it.

That being said, as long as Blake's healthy I would have to go with him. If LAC is 2nd in the west, The Dubs canabalize each other, and LAC finishes ahead of SA,  and Blake puts up like 24/10/6 then I can see it being given to him.

Doubt CP3 gives Blake enough control to really take the award. He has a shot though.

LeBron hasn't won MVP in a couple years. Voter fatigue would really only apply to Curry IMO.

Bron came in 3rd last year behind Steph & Kawhi.

I don't think PER36 is useless I like the stat to compare two Player A that plays 38 min a game vs Player B that plays 32 min a game. That and/or per possession stats. But I don't like when someone is playing 14 min and ppl bring up PER 36 stats. I remember early on in Drummond's career Big J would post his PER36 numbers and it would drive me crazy

What's hilarious is that Drummond's numbers last year at 32 min a game were better than his rookie PER36 so I can't eem tow it

I like the stat to compare two Player A that plays 38 min a game vs Player B that plays 32 min a game. That and/or per possession stats. But it's safe to say that they are better the Chicago and NYC. Indiana to be is a wild card. This experiment can go very wrong or very right. The biggest factor here is the new coach and new system.
