This is so dumb. Sabonis IS the goods and a great 4-5 best player on any team in the future. Yet, let's just trade for Taj Gibson and try to make a postseason run where we have literally no shot at winning anything. Rubio is an old 26. Some in organization wonder about durability and strength after knee issues. Would've been a nice show at MSG though.

There is no way in hell he did not have better offers through the summer and regular season. The guy just panicked and rushed to get a deal done. Like some people here said, he could have re-signed him and traded him later next year.

Everyone here is saying don't pay a backup center $20 mil a year, but you are talking about a team that has not even hit the cap floor. We can afford to keep him for the next few years.

We suffered three years for an extreme experiment that will never come to fruition. It's so hard to be a fan sometimes.

I thought that the Wiz would have made a move of some sort, not saying a roster changing move, but some sort of small improvement. Guess they think they're good enough to challenge, they are good enough to get there, but they wont be challenging.
