Cavs are in the Finals.

That's why I laugh at people picking Lebron for MVP like he's not going to be on cruise control until March.

Dwight still going to be demanding post touches, still going to be loading up dunks at 56k speed, and still going to be a mental ******

I'm passing on the Hawks

I don't think Boston will have the sustained success to finish as a #2 seed.

An ECF appearance is possible, but that will largely depend on who they're matched up with in the previous rounds.

I like that whole operation and what they have going on over there. I think some fans/media are slightly overrating them though.

They still don't have a perimeter star and I'm not sold on Horford as a rim protector at this point in his career.

Without those two things they don't have a chance at beating the Cavs in a 7 game series.

Haven't you heard? They have a top 5 coach and they signed al horford. Not to mention a plethora of draft picks that will either be cut at the end of preseason or spend their time in the D league/Shanghai sharks. What's not to like?
Horford and the Hawks got smashed by the Cavs. Hawks, Celtics, same ish. No One impressed by those squads. None of those players switching teams is going to make a difference in the grand scheme of things

I see this thread is in rare form already.

Not that it matters, but I was looking at the Divisions this morning. Who you think has the best division in the NBA team wise?

Love to hear NT responses.

I don't think they can beat the Cavs but I also don't think anyone else in the East can beat the Cavs

Y'all not entirely schleep but def nodding off.

-edit-

I just checked the predidtions thread and I only saw two people that didn't have Boston as the #2 seed in the East. Call it what you want, just don't call the cops.

Indiana is gonna be throwed.

PG

Teague

Jefferson

Turner

Bird

Stones better man!!

This season we taking that step

most analysts had Detroit at top 4 in the east. I keep saying..if Detroit can stay in that top half...stay healthy...then they can potentially get to the finals based on matchups alone. The issue last year was meeting that cleveland buzzsaw in the 1st rd.

you going to that pistons event tonight? open run and meet n greet?

Detroit being better rests solely on Andre Drummond.

He has to take that next step and be a much better defender and leader.

He has all the tools, he also needs to figure out a way to shoot at least 58% from the line because it's ******* ridiculous and holds him back.

Yeah, anyone who thinks the Celtics, or damn near every other team in the East for that matter, have a good shot at making the Finals gotta be smoking sherm.

Barring a catastrophe, we all know who the final 2 teams are gonna be. You could make the argument the Cavs might 'eem be able to overcome something crazy and STILL represent that conference.

The lack of real contenders for the throne.

Totally Agree with that whole statement.

Where is it at? You know you VIP around there Freeze. You gotta let ya man know the info.

Highly doubt this.

He smoking mid.

ATL never will be great love my guy Dennis though and Milsap.

***** act like the Hawks ain't win 60 games and an ECF 2 years ago .

Milsap got better since then
Schroeder could be better than Teague
Bazemore >>> Carroll
Healthy Dwight >>> Horford

Plus, the bench is low key solid.

If Kyle Korver can dial back the clock a lil bit....you're looking at a 50+ win team and ECF

1 game into the preseason and the takes are bubbling , opening week gon be scorching

And only thing i would worry bout on the Hawks is Korver might be really washed and they gotta depend on alotta rookies/unproven players in the rotation
