I don't think that KD or Russ is going to be into the game or I'd take one of those two (Russ first KD second) as the MVP.

And all this because Doc pointed out that he cried one time. They asked him if he's ever seen someone get emotional/cry during a game.

Doc Rivers is one of the most overrated coaches to have ever sat on an NBA bench. He's made the playoffs during his time in Orlando (3 out of 5 years), but never made it past the first round. Then he goes to Boston, makes it to the playoffs his first year, but surprise surprise: Knocked out in the first round. Then follows up with 2 losing seasons back to back. 2008 rolls along, Ainge works his magic and lands KG and Ray Allen and they win it all that year (not enough credit goes to Tom Thibedeau)

Now, that Doc had bonafide talent, the playoff success rolls along. As someone mentioned, when things got slower in Boston and the Boston Three Party got older, Doc got "traded" to the Clippers to coach CP3, Blake and DeAndre. But albeit all the talent, still can't make it a Conference Finals?

F#$k outta here. Doc is overrated and coaches off talent. Has he ever developed a player as well? The only thing he's good at is being a motivational speaker and keeping his son in the NBA

I'm had my issues with Doc's coaching at times, but i've always felt like coaches period are a tad bit overrated on this level.

I'm always going to side with the players. Doc Rivers never impressed me, and I always thought of him to be overrated. But when I hear the stories of how he'd treat his guys, that's when I got annoyed.

Doc Rivers doesn't have the stones to take a risk and go coach a young developing team. Because he knows just how quick he'll get exposed.

It's more than winning a chmapionship, because we all know you need elite talent to win in the NBA. But another job description of an NBA coach is to develop young talent. Doc has never done that.
