No one really cares that I dont have social media. I just exchange numbers with the people I meet and hit them up as necessary as if it was 2003.
Its been harder to tell people that I dont drink than it is to tell them that I dont have social media.

I take pictures still. Always thought it was dope when Google would send a short video of the year from your pictures and videos that was uploaded into the cloud.
Also my parents took tons of pics of me growing up from trips to school events.

Your instagram wouldn't go for anything as it's not a unique single word, nor does it have a large following.
There's various ways people obtain usernames, 99% of them illegal.
I use a custom coded program (100% legal) that continuously scans a list of usernames for availability. Instagram has a policy of resetting inactive usernames, allowing them to be created again. So with my scanner constantly at work, if something pops up as available I quickly open IG and try to snag it. Obviously I'm far from the only one with such a program so there's a bit of luck involved. I can't perform much physical activity due to my chronic illness so some of my international friends taught me the game over the past few years. Started out to help pay for the medical bills but eventually I became better at it and can now provide for myself and have some excess for leisure activities.

i don't use social media because it makes me feel inadequate when i see all of my friends and enemies that are buying houses, traveling on vacations, having kids, getting married...
when people ask why am i not on social media, i just say because I'm too busy, but I'm not, just don't want to experience feelings of inadequacy for the things i haven't accomplished...

. I dunno i just dont like this ig twitter snapchat stuff. Probably cuz ima private person and dont like putting my whole life out there. I feel like people dont even do things anymore for the actual enjoyment it seems like they do it for social media. I could be wrong but i just feel like majority are like that.

i always hated pics since i was a kid. Been had mean mugs in pics lol. I always felt like leave me alone let me enjoy the moment or wherever we at stop hounding me for pics mom lol.

I turned my fb and ig off to minimize distractions, studying for a test that may make or break my plans. Prob won't be back on til the end of the year.
I'll hop on Twitter/snap here and there just to see what my close friends are up to, throw a like here and there.
Don't care what everyone is up to on a daily basis. Also add that I don't want people to know what I'm doing all the time, scheming on the low word to Drizzy
Mind you I'm pretty social in my circle, but no one really asks or says anything about my social media b/c it's not the first time I went ghost. Just a couple "you deleted it?" to which I say its temporary when they try tagging me

Yeah. It's weird to me to see people snapchatting all night instead of enjoying the moment.
This. I went with a friend to a concert and she basically spent the whole time looking at the concert through her phone while she recorded and posted every video on IG.

Lol these were 19-21 yr olds but i feel u its the same thing. I noticed a lot of people cant even look someone in the eyes when having a convo i feel like they just so used to communicating thru a screen nowadays.

Drinking age is 16 here. And kids of all ages are allowed at bars unless the owner specifically states otherwise. There's a bar literally right next to my former highschool.
Most bars have unwritten age restrictions though. Kids won't go in a bar with an adult/college students reputation.
We also have youth bars who cater specifically to the 14-18 year old crowd. I frequently visit a youth bar run by people of my age (22). Always at least a few 14-15 year olds in there. Also plenty of people my age though.

Only have Facebook for family, recently dropped Instagram with my break up and ended snapchat earlier this year. My boy tells me to get a snapchat to share stuff and it's kinda weird not having an IG since I'd use that to look up rappers/celebrities but for the most part it's no different. I feel as though it's a waste of time honestly, the girl I'm talking to now is so surprised I don't have snapchat or IG. I told her I don't have time for social media games plus it's causes females to worry for some reason in my opinion.
