**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

 that fake outrage

AB was garbage. ya'll wont care tomorrow

This x1000

Anthony Brown was one of the worst players I've ever seen in a laker uniform. I've been begging for this clown to get cut since the end of last year.

His jumper was broke AF and his defense was subpar

So glad he's gone... I think the Lakers might actually be listening to me 8)

I was a little shocked by AB getting let go, but then I think about it and he probably just didn't make a compelling case to be kept. I wonder where he ends up, because there are a lot more cases of promising players getting cut by LA and falling off than there are getting cut and flourishing.

Nick Young outplaying him is a major reason he was cut. Solidified that he wouldn't get minutes unless 3-4 people got injured.

Pretty much.

At least R. Kelly, Sacre... hell even Goudelock, Ebanks and Morris had moments where you can see they could be serviceable or have a role with the team.

Never saw that with Brown. (Last year, Summer league, Preseason)

DAngelo's appearance on the Woj podcast is up. Decent listen. Excited to see what he can do this year.

I'm so excited guys. Hopefully they keep it within single digits.

My guess for starting lineup: Dlo/Young/Ingram/Deng/Moz

Wouldn't surprise me if Ingram sits, Deng starts at 3 & Randle at the 4 tho.

DLo
Lou
Deng
Randle
Moz

D Lo- 28 4 8
Randle- 14 11
Ingram- 12 5 2

Most importantly lakers get that W :smokin

Some cliffs:

Los Angeles Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell sits down with Adrian Wojnarowski on The Vertical Podcast to discuss life as the No. 2 overall pick, Luke Walton, Kobe Bryant, growing up as a Rajon Rondo fan in Louisville, playing with Ben Simmons in high school and much, much more. Here are some key moments:

1:19: What Russell knows about the NBA that he didn’t a year ago.

2:10: Playing in the golden age of point guards as a young player.

3:13: His relationship with Walton and the difference between Walton and Byron Scott.

5:56: Walton empowering Russell to be the team’s leader.

7:33: What he has learned about what it means to play for the Lakers.

10:26: Memories of Bryant’s 60-point finale against the Jazz.

15:45: Being compared to former Lakers greats instead of just his contemporaries.

18:16: Jerry West’s visit to the Lakers and his message.

18:54: Growing up in Louisville and following Rajon Rondo’s path to the NBA.

24:48: Leaving Louisville for a prep school in high school.

28:07: Being teammates with Ben Simmons at Montverde.

29:43: Not expecting to be a one-and-done player at Ohio State.

35:04: What advice would Russell give to a player considering leaving college early?

37:51: Dealing with the media spotlight that comes with playing for the Lakers.

42:07: His increased confidence coming from better preparation this season.

Hopefully we have fun this season. I just want to see the kids progress positively throughout the season.

LETS GO!!!!

I think Randle has a big game against Anderson.

Just wanna see Dlo make good decisions and BI hit some shots.

I was a little disappointed with the podcast. Was hoping for him to throw Byron under the bus more and detail the Nick-Iggy situation.
