Cant believe what I'm witnessing. Im so proud of this squad right now. Win or lose. They came out to play tonight. Luke Skywalton got these boys in sync.

Love the effort from the young fellas!

GREAT WIN!!!

1. Randle was great on offense. His vision was great, and was finishing at the hoop. Russell played with confidence, started hot, cooled off a bit, but did not force it to try to get back on track. The few times he was in the post was easy buckets. Mozgov was active, doing well defensively to contest, and was catching and finishing on offense.. If he gives us this consistently then he was a good investment.

Ingram looked comfortable.

Clarkson came up big in the 2nd half.

Deng was disappointing, but he didn't get a lot of play in preseason, he's gonna take some time to get into the swing.

Black looked horrible for the most part.

Swaggy played with effort on Defense, but WAYYYY too aggressive, which led to terrible defense for the mostly, and if you're going to shoot under 40% again every game, then you're wasting everybody's time.

2. We were horrible on the help on P&R or a guy driving to the hoop. That was most of our defensive problems. Mozgov, Black did step up to make the stop, BUT nobody helped the man Moz or Black left, and led to easy dump off passes or alley oops.

3. The rotations were out of wack. Too much Swaggy, not enough Clarkson. Unnecessary few minutes for Metta.

4. Very excited about this season, I was highly entertained watching the game. Think this team will be better than prognosticators say, not significantly better, but a handful of games.

5. The offense is better by light years, and we didn't even run defined and complex sets. Everything was pretty basic to start out

6. We're missing a defensive minded guard to go with DLo / Clarkson & Lou Will.... Avery Bradley, if only we had him :frown:
