We need a strong supporting cast regardless of what star will be attempted to be brought in. We have guys that fill those roles. Getting rid of all of them so we're a worse version of the Pacers doesn't do **** for us.

I agree.

Also, Lakers aren't in this to be competitive. That's for small market teams. It's championship or bust mentality. And trading assets for PG when you can get him for free does not help build a championship squad. It does get you an all star & maybe the 9th or 10th seed if you into that type of ****.
