NBA trade rumors: Lakers have no plans to trade young core that has scouts raving

Good article. Ingram has elite star talent written all over him. Randle, not so much, but is a very solid complementary piece along the lines of a Draymond Green, Lamar Odom.

As good as the media make DLo out to be, I still believe he's not the answer at PG. And because so, I still say the Lakers probably deal him by summer 2018, especially if the Lakers feel they can land a Paul George, a John Wall, or a Russell Westbrook.

I wish Luke can find a way to give Zu at least 10 mins a game. I know it's hard to find those mins now that Black and TRob are playing.

real talk, who's better at finishing layup..... DFish vs DLOAD?!  Good lord, dload is so non-athletic during his drives to the rim he just looks/hopes to get a foul called.

Since none of the young guys are apparently on the block, I assume the corpse of Deng, some tropical fruit bubbalicious, and hot off the press Jeanie single nudes were offered.

Facts.

Either floater or poor man harden move to draw foul. Never attacks rim or elevates

Tropical fruit bubbalicious ain't a bad deal.

On the other hand was just in FYE and they had giant Tootsie Pops, throw those in and easily a deal

I would say Lou Will would have to be in the deal. Veteran presence, has played in Philly.

If you could get Deng to Minny for Shabazz & Jordan Hill who would go to Philly

Throw in a few 2nd round picks from both LA & Minny and I think you have a solid start to a deal there.

If Sixers are really trying to trade either Noel or Okafor, may be getting far less than worth.

can the team just trade for a player with them by removing the protection of the pick?

would mean someone gets cut though

or do salarys still have to be within 10-15%?

Could remove the protection on the pick. But would still have to be within the league mandated range of $ for incoming salary versus outgoing.

Only time you don't have to is if you will have the salary cap space for the incoming $

Regardless if you bring in Noel, must get a taker for Deng or Mozgov just for the flexibility in 2018 & 2019

In light of an ESPN article on Jan 8 that the 76ers are shopping around for point guard help/depth...

Calderon for Noel, straight up, both expiring contracts. Philly may be willing to simply dump Noel because of their logjam at center and to free up future cap space. Who knows, anything can happen.

Lakers can then offer Lou, Deng, and a future pick to ATL for Millsap and Hardaway Jr.

Hollywood

Young

Randle

Millsap

Noel

Clarkson, Ingram, Hardaway Jr, Nance, Mozgov, Black, Robinson, Huertas

This would lock up the 8 seed imo

I think Phi would want something more to show for their top pick Noel

Let's see how well Old Man Parker does tonight vs Hollywood

I need Dlo to get his flow back
