Two weeks ago if someone would have told you a scenario trading starter Mason Plumlee who, btw, is having his best season (and is POR's best big man NOT to mention POR is fighting for a playoff berth), for little used Jusuf Nurkic, what would you have said? Illogical right?

Show me one publication or article...ONE...that reported any rumor about Plumlee being dealt. Heck, not even Shams C. knew about it two weeks ago, dude barely found out about it a couple days prior to it happening.

Two weeks ago if someone would have told you a scenario trading starter Mason Plumlee who, btw, is having his best season (and is POR's best big man NOT to mention POR is fighting for a playoff berth), for little used Jusuf Nurkic, what would you have said? Illogical right?

Show me one publication or article...ONE...that reported any rumor about Plumlee being dealt. Heck, not even Shams C. knew about it two weeks ago, dude barely found out about it a couple days prior to it happening. 

 

Well if you've been paying attention, after Portland didn't offer him an extension, like most teams the likelihood of him getting a deal in the upcoming summer was slim. And their current cap situation going forward made it well within the realm of possibility would be moved at some point. And the fact that they actually got a deal that now gives them 3 1st round picks, it actually makes sense on a couple fronts from the Blazers perspective. Unlike your crazy scenarios.

The point is:  NOBODY talked about it, there were NO RUMORS, nothing prior to the trade happening. So don't act like everyone and their grandmothers expected POR to trade Plumlee.
