when the lakers got ruben patterson, it wasn't to take Kobes spot...it was to have someone challenge him. smh at you dlow stans. this was an obvious move by management to have someone push dslow.

While I do think Nwaba will be very beneficial to compete against in practice, none of these guys are taking Dlo's spot. Will be interested to see a Dlo/Nwaba backcourt but Ennis just flat out sucks

ur reasoning is exactly what us dlo "haters" see in him. a basura player that gets his pts/assist/stats during garbage time. he has nada going for him, especially his motor or mental approach. I loved how coach pop called him out in USA scrimmage after he didn't "GET IT". so its not just us that see he has low bball IQ.

scrimmages get intense and coaches get fed up with the way plays are ran all the time.
you dont coach a team as successful as the spurs have been over the past 2 decades without tearing into players.

I really don't get why ppl in this thread think waiting 2-3 years is a detriment. Lakers aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Lakers have always wanted to win now...instead of waiting 20 years like the celtics. we're on year 4 of losing, and you're ok with another 2-3yrs....so 7years of losing is ok with you? you'd be a horrible GM for the Lakers.....maybe you should stick to a smaller market team where its ok to lose.
