How many times have we heard a player grew up a laker fan ? That means nothing and what players is gonna lure here ...also if we do land PG the FO will stupidly go into win now mode move most of the young pieces

Have we lost out on a free agent Lakers had mutual interest in that grew up a Lakers fan?
And how long will it take this lakers team to even reach 7-8 seed?
Lakers obviously are not going to just acquire PG and be satisfied with 7-8th seed.

There's room for them to jump to that 5-6-7 range within the next 2 years if they acquire PG. Clippers will be disbanded, Russ as great as he is, doesn't have enough help in OKC, and Memphis is Memphis. The Wolves while more talented haven't progressed as much as one would think and Portland is in a terrible cap situation. Going forward it's GS/SA/HOU/UTA that seem to be set up for the top 4 spots. And outside of GS they all only have one star on the team. Of course it will require at least one of the young guys to take a leap in terms of improvement to how high they can go.

All year y'all been bashing Randle but all of a sudden a deal with him being the centerpiece is gonna net us a top 10 player

Only way we get PG before he goes into FA (which he never will) is to have a deal centered around the Top 3 pick if we land it. It would take the Top 3 + Randle + fillers to even get the convo started. I'd still pull the trigger.
If we don't land the #1 pick but still land in the Top 3 you trade it. We've been in the lottery enough. This is about Superstars netting superstars. PG will start that chain reaction off cuz he is not carrying a team by himself.
Everyone outside of DLo & BI are expendable. Our young talent is arbitrary

A lot of talk that a few players on the Clippers dont like CP3's style and are tired of him.... He seems like the type of player Magic would love to have and go after since he will be a free agent. At the very least he takes a meeting Magic.With a few moves we could be looking at :

At his age I definitely wouldn't pay him 200 mill. If Blake is willing to come on over then Randle will be a Pacer this summer.
