**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Maybe not the biggest hypocrite on NT but there's truth in what he said. Especially given your well documented takes on Kobe stans over the years and D'Lo critics this year.

2+2=5

What does my view on what a player could become have to do with why I think Kobe is overrated? Lmao.

Yea you don't see it. It's staring you right I the face.

At least wait until he actually makes an All-star team 1st before you take you victory lap.

Bynum smh what could have been...

Bruh was ahead of his time with the 3 point sniping and quotables. He was embiid before embiid

JC is out of LA come june regardless of who the Lakers pick, or if they even keep the pick, I think.

I mean it sounds nice but for who exactly or even what type of player? He's basically at 20 ppg for the past month+, busts his *** every nite and never complains despite not having a consistent role his time here on top of having a bargain contract. You're only going to get a marginally better player in return if that

i see 5 winnable games left

depending on how good our young guys play this could be a problem

we took the cavs to the limit and luke played all 3 of our future stars 40 minutes

the suns wont win another game this season

I trust Luke to guide the tank correctly.

Worst comes to worst, you just stick Ennis and Brewer in there for extended minutes and you're guaranteed a loss.

The crunch time lineups with Randle at 5 + switching all Pick&Rolls on defense = guaranteed loss also

You could always throw Dlo back on the bench :nerd:

...

Wonder when/if Ennis will get cut or released.
Nwaba second 10 day contact is set to expire. Why hasn't he been resigned for the season yet?

So what happens to JC if it's Dlo + top 3 pick in the backcourt?

Maybe JC is only starting so we can showcase him as a starter and then trade him in the summer
Bring him off the bench. Let him be the new Lou. He's shown he can come off the bench and be productive,
this

you dont trade away Lou with a year left on his deal without knowing JC will be that 6th man to come in and be the scorer off the bench

granted he has been inserted into the starting lineup but i dont see that come next year, especially if our guards dont improve defensively over the summer.

Lou was traded to secure the tank, not necessarily to give JC minutes but it does function as that.

I wanted Skal, but yea hopefully they can continue with this late 1st rounder we got.

What yall think about that 250lb "Guard" from Iowa St can't remember his name at the moment but I like what I saw in the tourney...

I wonder if the Nets are so desperate for a first rounder (Houston pick) if they would take back Mozzy.

Prokhorov. :nerd:

Don't get caught up in players performing well in the tourney that you never heard of.
