**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

This is the point in the game where having a star matters the most. Lowry and Demar bout to take over.
Seasoned NBA vets
They weren't stars after their first 2 years
That's my point. Lakers need a star in order to COMPETE and WIN. They can wait for these kids to develop all they want but as long as they keep the same core together, no star will emerge.

Didn't the Raptors lose to the Suns the other night? Mike Lowry with a 40 piece...yikes.

And how do you think they became stars? Raptors traded for them? You think every star in the league was dominant right away? You're an idiot period

It doesn't matter how they became stars you walking duck. The point is THE RAPTORS FOUND A WAY TO ACQUIRE THEM.

You think DLo will evolve into a mf'n star? Shiyet.

Very, very encouraging that D'Lo had 28 on efficient shooting and five assists to zero turnovers.

Against an All Star PG like Lowry at that.

DLo scores 28. Great for him. But his effort was completely nullified by Lowry's 40-spot and near triple double. And it led to yet another L.
