**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

I will say this, I'm not in favor of giving up an enormous package for Trae Young. Trae is better than D'Angelo Russell but not that much better than DeAngelo Russell. That being said, in Atlanta, Trae is asked to play the role of Steph Curry when he is not a Steph Curry level player.

On the Lakers he would be the third option which would make his life a lot easier and would hopefully make him a much more efficient player.

I would be willing to give up Dlo, Vanderbilt and 1 FRP for Trae. Anything beyond that is an overpay

Wouldn’t be able to trade DLo unless he picks up his player option. Because with Bron/AD/Rui/AR/Gabe, other salaries adding Trae puts them over the apron.

Also not a great fit for Trae either.

Besides the point, Lakers still playing
