Yeah the drop off week 2 was only -15% (did another 28 million) that's unheard of for movies let alone horror movies.
GET OUT -- New horror film about black man meeting white gf's parents. Looks creepy.

i suspect that i won't see a movie in 2017 that will be as rewarding of an experience as this film. or as important. this movie had a lot of life experiences, past present and future.
i really hope for a directors cut, and look forward to the blu ray to see all the endings.

Finally saw the movie, it was really great.

Consider she probably hooked dozens of brotha's through her years, even some who weren't "assimilated" just jump-offs so her game was tight, she knew what and what not to say in a (pretend) relationship.When he & Rose took that walk before "bingo" started, he told her "You're all I got. I'm not leaving here without you." It's been 4 months dawg. Grab ya nuts.
Then he stumbled upon the red box w/ all the pics and still tried to leave WITH RoseSTILL giving her the benefit of the doubt because he desperately wanted their 4-month relationship to work.
-Relatively attractive (she's not a dime but she's cute), professional, non-ratchet upper middle-class white girl with rich parents and her own cash flow.
-The box was probably golden (don't sleep on slim girls sex game)
-Appeared to ride-or-die for him by challenging the cop.
Who will cut that off after 4 months just because they are around some strange acting friends of the family?

He couldn't leave without her. Too big of a place to just take off running and make it anywhere before they notice and come get you, Dean even said so when they first met the nearest neighbor is clear across the lake. Maybe he could have called a cab I guess.
Plus it was her car so... even after seeing the pictures, she is his best chance of getting out of there and certainly telling her you know the scam and she's in on it isn't going to help you. But yea, biggest problem was riding in in her whip otherwise he may have been able to escape but since Bingo was already done the whole family was waiting for him anyways. Not going to be able to escape off foot on that massive estate. He should have left earlier.
Mathematically, she would have had to have hooked some of those other dudes in less time. She was 26, probably went to college, if she took 5 months per guy developing a fake relationship to then get them to trust her enough to come to her parents' house, that's 12 in 5 yrs. Her brother's method is more efficient, although his mother commented several times about him being a doofus and damaging the "merchandise" with his rough handling dropping them on their heads and psuedo karate, but he could easily be bringing in a body a week. Maybe just have Rose chat to them on the phone about a fake meetup and get them bad directions so they'll get lost somewhere like what happened to Andre (never confirmed he was on the phone with Rose though). I guess potential witnesses and law enforcement would be potential negatives to his approach though
Oh and in that Google interview, Allison Williams confirms they leave out making it any specific place just to make it so you don't think it couldn't be your city. My guess was NYC and they went upstate to their parents' mansion but this makes sense

I think the aforementioned issues with his mom's death played a bigger role in him falling so fast.
He was acting like it was his first relationship ever. The hit & run aftermath ****** him up, IMO but I see where you're coming from. She did present a good package, but in my mind, most chicks do that for the first few months. Flaws aren't revealed off the bat. Valid point though.
I was thinking about it more & he was really screwed once the mother got in his head. And I'm not even sure how he coulda prevented that. Momma was really good at her job.
I originally thought that once he asked Rose for the keys & she started fidgeting, he coulda got behind her & strangled her pretty easy without too much noise since everyone was downstairs, but then he was under the spell so all Mom's had to do was tap the tea cup, and then they probably kill him when they find Rose.
So the only real way out at that point was the route he inadvertently took.

Yea there was no way Chris was gonna leave that place by himself 
other than what actually happened, his best bet would probably have been to knock her out and throw her down in that basement, then find the keys and act like he has to go get something out his car get Rose's backpack himself to find the keys and act the least suspicious as possible.

Even if he got out of the house the parents call the cops a say a black guy assaulted their daughter and is now in her vehicle. He gets stopped by the police and noone believes his story about how weird things were at the house and bruh is thrown in jail.

Andre has been missing for 6 months, he has the picture of Andre in his phone and sent it to his friend. They find Andre w/ the surgery scars on his head & Chris can say he was fighting for his life so they wouldn't do it to him.
I'm sure the host bodies of the grandparents have been missing for a long time also. He would've gotten off if the family tried to get him on murder/assault.
