GET OUT -- New horror film about black man meeting white gf's parents. Looks creepy.

Finally watched the movie yesterday. Had me on the edge of my seat. I can't lie, I did jump twice and my girl had her face buried in my shoulder through the second part of the movie lol. Might go see it a second time with my mom and lil sis.

I don't agree with this theory, because then the cops that Chris' homie reported him missing to wouldn't have laughed him off...

I do agree that Rose didn't want the cop to get the ID incase someone reported him missing in the future tho. Cause then the cop would have a record of having run both their licenses together.
Im pretty sure they werent from the same county

They was def in different areas. They drove out to the middle of nowhere to see her parents

Naah, I didn't get that vibe. IMO, if Peele wanted to imply that he should have had the cop open up with the fact that people have been going missing lately, along with transitioning into it better, since they were literally talking about the accident and the deer when he suddenly shifts to asking for dude's license.

Yea, I'm not looking too deep into that theory. I think it would take away from some of the points that Peele intended to make throughout the film.

I've been there. It's not fun at all. Most uncomfortable experience of my life

....unless he's one of "those" black dudes

A ***** never wanted the keys to the car so bad in his life

That's one place Peele ****** upwriting. I would've snatched that bag out her hand and got those keys.

Once he saw those pictures he should've known 100% she's in on it and not even play like he didn't see what he just saw (I feel like she left it there or him to fnd). Tackle that ***** and go.

From now on "those" black ppl to me have had their bodies invaded and taken over until proven otherwise.

He wouldnt have gotten anywhere. They were all downstairs waiting on him (he didnt know this but would have found out the same way he did).

He takes off out the door mom taps the cup with the spoon, face plant in the cement .. damaged goods. Who knows what they do with him then. Brother prob would have gladly taken over

Yeah that theory ain't flying

I would've grabbed the keys and jumped out the window. Outside that tea cup won't work with the sounds of the wilderness. Off in to the car and I'm gone.

Nah man....my man Chris handled his, once dude turned on his killer instinct it was a ***** wrap for those Trumpettes....they took on all types of Ls.

Movie BETTER be nominated for something. Best original screenplay. Possibly best actor. Homie pulled tears out every 6 and a half minutes. Best score. :smokin

Agreed they better win too. Something gotta really come up n knock it off the #1 podium.

But, I feel like its gonna end up being to long of a wait. It literally came out a week after the Oscars right? So like almost a whole year gotta pass

I can already see the snub coming

I ain't getting my hopes up on that. He wasn't playing a gay dude and he wasn't on some "yes massa" ****

Well Kong which could have been a blockbuster, turned out to be a dud....I got faith it'll get a nod.

Only possible Oscar nom this movie could get is original screenplay. But it won't, because this movie is a horror movie, that's not an art house film. I'd love to see it get a nod too, but not getting my hopes up.

I agree with quisse, the year long wait is just way too long for it to be relevant by oscars time, word to Deadpool

What a solid debut. I hope he can match it with his next film and not have everything conpared to this
