Movie was awesome :nthat:

I was rolling out of my chair laughing when Rose was trying to "recruit" the next NCAA prospect

Very good movie, A LOT of racial undertones. Brilliant almost.

Crazy ironic because I'm reading Between The World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates, and the central theme of that movie was expressed throughout the book. Nuts

Saw it last night and it was damn good.

Now question. Who left the door open for him to find those pictures?.

Movie was good... I think the 100% score made me go in with my expectations too high....so I was expecting to be blown away, but I never was...

With all that said, this is the best movie I've seen this year (get out> split> John wick 2), I'd give it a solid 6.5/8...

My shorty LOVED it...

Door was open when they first got there.

Camera kind of lingers on it a few seconds when they first walk in her room.

I don't think it was ever closed.

I was expecting something/someone to be in there and pull him in.

Definitely a good movie, but I went in with too high expectations. One thing that didn't make sense is why they were using their grandparents in servile roles?

I assumed they only did that when a new person was around.

That's why Rose was surprised her mom spoke to Georgina like that.

I'm still wondering if Rose was dating Georgina or if it was just her friend.

Amazing film.. I listened to Peele on Combat Jack and I got a sense to not expect too much horror genre or comedy genre.

While it is rooted in horror, there's a lot of social commentary in the film.

- Brainwashing
- Slave Mentality (someone else ultimately dictating your behavior and words)
- Cultural appropriation / culture vultures
- White people LITERALLY wanting to be black

Plus hearing this on a theater system was dope:

It seems he would have found the pictures sooner if the door was open the whole time.

I think Rose and Georgina had to be dating. Look at the way her arm was wrapped around her

the lead actor has a role in Black Panther

Chadwick Boseman is the lead

Michael B Jordan is the villian

BP is stacked with great actors and actresses.

I understand why Samuel L. Jackson wants to be involved.

I kind of don't want Michael B Jordan to be a bad guy but Chadwick looks too nice to play that role

should be a sick movie especially since directed by Coogler

The ending is pretty satisfying IMO.
People were gasping, clapping, cheering and laughing in my theatre.
All warranted.
I just wonder how all these teeny boppers got into an R-rated movie.
I even saw a couple that had a kid with them no more than 7-9 yrs old from what I can tell.
