I go in the sauna before working out...

did a 15 min yoga this morning. first time actively stretching in many moons. lol
 
I'm embarking on a journey to middle splits, I want to be the only dude in the hood that can get their Van Damme on.
 
Mobility is much bigger then people think. Tight muscles, compensations and just overall not moving the way youre suppose to can cause pain and can manifest itself in all different types of ways. I'm sure someone with constant pain is not as pleasant to be around. Also just because you can do a certain stretch doesn't mean youre doing it properly.

My gf can raise her hand above her head but she didn't realize she was arching her back to get her hands into that position. Lack of shoulder mobility and not very surprising she has a lot of shoulder pain. Do research before you just do a few static stretches and call it a day.
