I've been reading The Verge, and they have this series called "The Future of Fear" where they showcase new immersive horror experiences throughout the month. These things sound crazy. Has anyone or would anyone try these?

Each link has the article relating to it.

The Tension Experience: Ascension -
A new immersive horror experience that combines haunted house and escape-room elements with interactive theater to put audiences at the center of a story about a creepy, Scientology-esque organization that might just be a supernatural cult. It’s a disturbing, intoxicating piece of entertainment, designed to push your buttons and leave you questioning the divide between fantasy and reality.

Website. Tickets are $125 for this one. :wow:

Twenty-One -
...an "online virtual horror experience" from the creators of the "extreme" haunted house, Blackout. An ongoing series that first premiered at the end of last year, Twenty One is essentially designed to induce a state of paranoid terror in the player. Cryptic texts, interactive requests, and profoundly disturbing calls and videos manipulate you over several days into feeling like you’re being watched and are in danger at literally every moment. (How effective is it? I bought a baseball bat on my second day "just to be safe." How addictive is it for horror fans? I’m now in the middle of chapter three.)

Nah, I'm good.

Already have people watching me, don't need the feeling of having more eyes on me.

That first one sounds interesting though....if you can do it with another person or group

I wanna get that VR Playstation just to play one of those scary games but when that head unit comes off, I want the games to end. I don't know if I could take a few days of that, I eat alot of fried foods and it won't end well for my poor heart

Bruh :wow:

A full month long experience :wow:

You've read about the private invite only shows.
You've heard about the celebrities and custom BLACKOUT experiences.
You've asked if this is like David Fincher's "The Game".
You've pushed for something more intimate. More intense. Longer.

Experiences vary and are custom-tailored for each participant.
An experience can last anywhere from two days to a full month.
Prices for private events start at $8,000 (within the United States)
and a $1,000 retainer is necessary to even begin
a serious conversation with us about what is possible.

Well damn!! :wow:

I remember the movie "The Game". They had Michael Douglas doing all types of things around the city. I don't know if my mental health is ready for a month of this. What if you have a family? Are they pulled into it as well?

It was cool it's really just people screaming at you but they do touch you as well. Not gon say I wasn't nervous but I made it through

My lady had her eyes closed and clenched to my arm the entire time :smh: my son was too fearless (first haunted experience) and decided not to stay close to us and got the shock of his life which had that end result

I just sent that 21 blackout link to my fantasy football group chat to see who gonna man up and try it out cause it isn't gonna be me.
