I don't think hi k you need a lease to be a tenant and then I paying thing would come down to he said she said. From what I googled you need to deliver it in writing that they are evicted and wait 30 days. Also you can't touch her stuff. So moving it to the garage may not be okay

I really can't believe what I'm reading. Does she literally have nowhere else to go besides the new penis's crib? I could see you not wanting to totally leave her homeless but she's taking full advantage of you and your fam right now. Move her stuff into boxes into the garage or something or better yet the front porch and tell her she has X amount of days before you guys donate it to good will.

It's what I've told her that she's just being parasitic with us at this point. She literally doesn't have anywhere to go. All her family is out of state and I already said if by law we have to give her 30 days it starts today and she can sleep in the living room. Putting all her clothes in bins and putting them in the back patio or garage.

Just talk to your parents, set some boundaries that you can all live with and give her a timeline. She doesn't sound like she really has her **** together. We were at bar yesterday and he happened to be there. I straight up told him "When is she moving into your place" he gave me the whole it's not even like that. I just broke up with my gf of 6 years and then he had the audacity to start talking about my relationship with my ex. I told him to shut his mouth it wasn't his place to talk and didn't let him get another word in on the matter. Literally told him she's not my problem anymore and they can figure it out.

as you've stated, OP, it might not be as easy as just giving her the boot. If she has received mail or has a key to the place she has a right to be there. It's a strange law but remember the saying "possession is 9/10th of the law"?.... Well if she has a key or mail going to your house she is in "possession" of that property

They've done that before and her parents are pretty much over her crap. She was in an abusive relationship before me and her parents paid for her to stay at a hotel for a few weeks until she found a place to live. Her moms father just passed away last week and they're dealing with all the paperwork and funeral arrangements and really don't have time for any of that nonsense. When we broke up she gave me this whole I need to work on myself speech and I was okay with her still living here because it seemed like she was trying to get her act together. Then this whole thing started happening. She would come home every 2-3 nights or just to shower because she's with this new dude literally all the time. Ive asked her what her assessment of the situation is and she just plays dumb. I've been trying to get her out since and pulls the whole dads a lawyer and I need to give her 30 days.

I am no lawyer, but call her bluff on that "my daddy's a lawyer," ****. Even if the law was on their side, sounds like he doesn;t want to be ******* with her on that level anyways and probably wouldn't want to risk his reputation and record as a lawyer taking a frivolous case to court of my daughter is getting kicked out of her x boyfriend and his fam's house and they have no grounds to even though she contributes nothing and is getting dicked down by this other Tyrone who then sends her back to the ex's house to sleep, bathe, and replenish nutrients until he's ready to smang again.
