Hello NT, I'm in the process of designing a website for my sneaker boutique. I'm not tech savy so any advice will be appreciated. I purchased a webpage through Go Daddy, does anybody have experience with this site?

I doubt you purchased a website from GoDaddy. By the way, GoDaddy is now reputable.

You most likely bought a domain name. You need to find hosting for it now. If you're starting an online store, you need a platform that supports Ecommerce, like WooCommerce or BigCommerce. This means buyers can buy your item and tender the transaction in real time as oppose to you just posting up pictures and say "contact us to buy".

Browse the packages and see what works best for you in terms of their cuts. Buy the service. Go back to Godaddy and route to your domain name so it brings you to your actual website. Right now if you were to go to your website www.yourwebsite.com, it would probably just say domain isn't available. Need to point this to your site.

You can use a free mail service like Zoho to connect to your hosting so your email is @yourdomain.com and not sketchy like yourdomain@gmail.com

Not rocket science but the first time will take a bit to get used to. All the info is out there. Go find it.

And once you have a bare working website up, you can install plug ins or apps as you go on to incorporate comments, etc.
