Air Penny 2 RD & Pics: 9/27/08 White/Royal/Black, 11/08, & 01/09

They arrived! But, I'm going to return these back to Nike. For one, getting a half size up was a mistake. Second, the craftsmanship is very poor. Lots of glue all over the "suede" and the paint looks very sloppy. Maybe it's just me, but these are underwhelming. The blue doesn't match the Blu on my M&N penny throwback jersey. Looks like the $169.60 will be returned to my voucher and I'll use it on the black Nike KD 9's in June.

wore the white/blue retro 2 the other day, pretty comfortable. Few flaws on the sneaker but nothing to make me return them, happy with my purchase.
 
sizing wise I have been a 9.5 in the 08 and 09 Penny 2 retros, everything that has retroed since then was always a size 9 for me, just strange overall, when I read all these sizing comments!
 
I ain't super old but I can remember back in the day when penny was the man, when I was in middle school n whatnot ppl were def on the penny's more than the Jordan's. Even the older ppl I knew like my cousins. My sister in law is from pg and she had the OG black 2s and I remember her saying ppl back pg was going nuts for the penny's
 
Glad to see the All Stars are going to rerelease, I remember the last time they dropped I had to pass on them.

Edit: Just an assumption but I think it's a safe one cause we've gotten a penny 2 every month

Atlantics in Feb, Heat color way in March, Sole Collectors in April so let's see if the all stars/home whatever y'all wanna call em drop next month I'm so ready

I was excited for the penny 2s to come out but I just haven't been feeling them as much as I thought I would
 
I checked out the SC model at the mall. Biggest negative for me is the royal blue shade on the midsole and "wing" doesn't match the sock liner. Looks so weird. No chance of me copping at retail. Will wait for heavy discount pricing

One of the reasons why I returned them back to nike.com when I received them. The paint job was sooooooooooo sloppy. I'll use my voucher for the black KD 9's.

Yo, I pulled my pair out last week and the sole was separating on mine too.

I was truly sad, thats one of my favorite color. Im thinking of fixing them on my own. Wish me luck.
