Honestly, this pair looks so poorly made, I would just recommend finding another unless you're getting themy below $80 or something.
Heel stitching is crazy and that right Toebox is ridiculous.

I noticed the wings logo on both shoes is not as embossed as the pairs I've seen online. Not sure this is common or like you said it may just be a very poorly made pair.
