Does it matter what song is playing with you and your boy in the car?

So I was giving my boy a ride home and Boyz II Men's I'll Make Love To You came on the radio and he quickly changed it. I told him I wanted to listen to that and he says no, not when it's just me and him in the car. So, my question to you is, does it matter?

I was ready to sing it, too. :smh:

If I'm driving I play my stuff cuz it makes me comfortable.

Face while driving. Nah that won't happen again .. If they don't like it then come equipped with headphones. I do when I'm not the one driving .

I really don't want to listen to R&B with another man in the car.. but since you're driving.. I wouldn't forced the changed song..

I stay listening to that sexy **** in my whip (Weeknd, Frank, PND, Adele & etc.) & I consider myself extremely comfortable in my sexuality but yeah, can't listen to that type of stuff w/ another cat sitting passenger.

sometimes i like to jam to taylor swift in the car when im solo but if im with my friends cant be playing that

Not really as long as you don't care that I'll be playing something like this and more than likely zoning out past the speed limit

Typically no slow music when I'm riding with the bros. Only if I want him to hear a particular song, typically it'll just be a snippet then back to the ratchetness.

I think it's just a security issue for most people. If a group of people were to see two men riding with the windows down playing 'all my life', someone may infer that there's some homosexual implications in that scenario. You seem to not care what anyone thinks.

Op what if you were riding in your car with your mom and the explicit version of the or nah remix came on, would you feel comfortable?

Reminds me of a situation that happened when I was in college. My female friend had a bday party at a restaurant. One of her friends, that was clearly homosexual, saw me outside and walked to my car and asked if he could ride with me. I knew the dude from one of my art classes and he was cool... But I didn't want people seeing me pulling up to the scene with dude ,in fear that people would make speculations about me. I told him that I wasn't gonna be able to make it, and i actually didn't go. Later on, I asked my roommate how he would've handled the situation and he basically said that he would've told dude straight up 'i don't want to be seen with gay people on my car'.

We were in college and we wanted to protect our reputation. Call us a bigot or whatever.

I dont see a problem with this? Hell i even do it but its not like the WHOLE car ride we listen to slow songs, just one song IF it comes on its own (shuffle ftw) and after that we back to the regular stuff

If it's just me and one of my boys riding in the car I don't wanna listen to no R/B songs.

That's stuff you play solo or with ya girl.

I'm giving him another ride tomorrow. I'm gonna purposely blast Trey Songz' Slow Motion with the windows down.

Couldnt even deny the suspect activity that was taking place
