With my son. He is always looking for the newest and coolest shoe. I didn't realize buying was this huge. Anyways that prompted me to tell him about how in 10th grade back in 85 I got the first pair of Jordan's in his college colors. I still have them in my closet. When I showed them to him, he couldn't believe how much shoes have changed over the years. Anyways, glad to be a part of this.View media item 2198753
 
The funny thing is those Jordan 1's you have, are actually still wearable. The whole culture is winding back down to how it use to be, with shoes sitting on shelves. Other than the really hyped releases of course...

Wow that's amazing to have that shoe still around.  I hope you preserve them.  Jordan history is one thing, but your personal history much more important.  Awesome story.
