Planet Earth II on BBC [Trailer Inside]

Lions rarely attack animals bigger than them for a reason unless they are really hungry, too much energy and they get hurt.
Is this right?
in my mind, everytime I see the lionesses hunting they are jumping on the back of some big animal.
Not saying you're wrong it's just surprising.

They attack in groups though. One might jump on the back of an animal, but there are multiple females there for support. Also, male lions will hunt if need be, if food is scarce. They are enormous.

THIS IS AMAZING

The clip focuses on the marine iguana, found only on the Galapagos Islands. They have a unique birth cycle where the female lays her eggs in volcanic ash or sand, and the babies, when they’re born, have to join the group on the rocks next to the shore. Unfortunately, because nature is horrible, that means the newborn has to sprint past a gauntlet of vicious snakes amid the corpses of iguanas that failed to survive, and freezing still in the middle of the sand, since snakes hunt by movement, and watch tensely as they slither by, uncertain if they’re about to strike. Never let it be said that nature isn’t hardcore.

Heads up this is tonight

looks amazing.

it breaks my heart to think that humans have become such horrible stewards of the planet and at the rate we're going, videos like these might be the only way our children will be able to see the diversity of nature. pretty crazy how awesome and crappy man can be.

Bruh because of this show i know facts about random animals. Peeps at the office look at me wierd everytie i share a cool thing bout an animal

Where is it airing in the US?

The series will broadcast internationally on BBC Earth, while there will be a few exceptions for some countries.

The series will be aired in the United States each Saturday, starting from 28 January 2017 on BBC America.[10]

I dont think I've seen any 4k videos before. Is the difference going from 1080 to 4k as noticable as it was going from a tube tv to a 1080 tv? Hah
Yes if you are talking Qauntum Dot Technology or OLED

But there aren't any networks is broadcasting in 4K, so I'm wondering how BBC is going to make the true 4K content available to viewers. Second question is, Will the 4K be 60 frames-per-second?

I hope that they stream it so I can have the best experience. If not, the best that they can do is 720p to 1080p

The deep sea joint was amazing. I've watched every episode at least 20x since like 09. Can't wait til the full series drop on Netflix or something.

Those were racer snakes. If you can't tell by their name, they can move pretty fast. Not all that poisonous to humans tho, they're constrictors.
