McBride is co-writing?

Damn, imagine if they do a This Is The End version of Halloween.

Franco will play the main character -- Larson Strode.

^^^ Yeah McBride and David Gordon Green are cowriting and Green is directing.Odd choices in my opinion.

Random horror thoughts:

Can't wait for XX, the female driven horror anthology, to hit VOD.

Not sure how I feel about yet another Halloween reboot. I wasn't too impressed with either of Rob Zombie's movies.

Still HOPING to death that Eli Roth gets his ish together and makes a full movie out of the Thanksgiving trailer from Grindhouse, which I happened to come across on cable last night.

Can't wait for both Slither and The Gate to hit blu-ray for the first time in the coming weeks.

Not too happy that a Phantasm blu-ray box set is being made available after I've already bought individual versions of I, II, and V.

HOPING that since Saw is coming back, at some point Lionsgate makes a blu-ray box set of the THEATRICAL versions available in America. The unrated blu-ray ending of Saw VI plays out significantly differently than the theatrical ending.

Glad to hear about Halloween having a release date. My favorite horror franchise. Don't know how I feel about Mcbride being a cowriter though lol.

When McBride first started working in Hollywood he wanted to be a writer and he loves horror movies.

Yeah I just read the article with him talking about how Halloween was his favorite. Says they want to bring the vibe back from the OG. Thank God they're not rebooting it. Looking forward to this.

Definitely going to see Get Out this weekend. Just have to find me a honey dip to go see it with. Hate watching movies at the theatre alone. Hopefully one of them comes through, even if it's just a friend zone buddy!

Yeah. ****. That.

"It" scarred me as a 5 year old. I still remember being freaked out when he was in the sewer.

I'm mad I even saw that damn poster. You all can have all of that crap.
