good move imho, in case anyone is wondering he still takes a roster spot so as of now its felder, mo, JR, and Birdman who take a spot but cannot play :smh:

Mo's the only one on that list who bothers me - he did us dirty, the others are just bad luck and a young guy. Hopefully Griff can pull his magic and make some trades and we'll be looking great though. The changes shouldn't be as drastic as last year but just some tweaks is all we need.

Nice start! I have the Kyrie panini pic too- was yours really hard to get out of its plastic casing? I had to literally cut mine out of the case! It seemed to stick to it, maybe because of its glossy surface? What a pain that was for me

We have enough players who shoot the 3 well.
Kay Felder just exploded since the absence of Kyrie.
I think he will become an important asset this season. Nevertheless, it's better to have 3 PGs in your roster as you have to think about possible injuries.
 
WTF is going on with Mo Gotti's soft ***?  No updates considering his surgery was 3 months ago?  Assuming after guys have a given procedure, it's only reasonable to start some kind of rehab/work outs?  Is it really worth Gilbert to save 2 million to run the team into the ground until all star break (assuming someone picks up him or Birdman)? 

Thoughts on the roster situation?

Dunleavy and a first round pick for Korver? - that's a no brainer.

I like Dunleavy a lot but it's not really working out.

Looks like Mo might be part of the deal too so that opens up a roster spot.

I was tying to work out how they could trade that 2019 draft picks - you can't trade consecutive first round picks and last year they used the 2018 pick in a trade. I think that's one of the rules after the disastrous Cleveland GM in the past?

Anyway separately they're trading the 2017 pick for the 2018 one so they're no longer consecutive. Clever move.
 
It's official - Welcome to Cleveland Kyle Korver.

Dunleavy, Mo, a protected pick and cash. That opens up a roster spot and they have a near $9.4m trade exception which is enough for a decent PG.

Expect another addition in the next few days.
 
Griff does it again!  I'm okay keeping Birdman as a dead end contract on the bench, but Mo left a bad taste the way he did us dirty.  It feels good to be done with him..  It seem's he's always been a "me first" person.  Moving on, it's good we didn't have to waive J McRae.  Swish's injury has been a blessing to let these young guys organically develop and see how truly deep we can be.  It'll be interesting to see if we lowball someone like Jack, Chalmers, Cole- or maybe open the wallet a little more and get a bigger contract with the trade exception.  Just keep going fellas- it seems pretty shaky in Oakland!
