Been watching the same garbage game winning attempts for 7 years...weak pick & roll, dribble dribble dribble fall away...clank.

NBA is like WWE these days...too comical.

Yeah...didn't know you could hold hands with your opponent.

Why is this team shooting so many jumpers, terrible coaching.

Two games lost in the most gut wrenching fashion. I can't even vent about the last possession in regulation cuz I have nothing new to say.

It was over the second the buzzer sounded in the 4th quarter. We don't have the depth to handle this effort they have all game long

Don't like Wall settling for a jumper at the end of regulation. But I'm sure he wouldn't have got the call if he drove to the basket.

Had a golden opportunity here but team still lacks that killer instinct. Can't hold a lead for ****....

Despite all that, I still think this series can go 7.

Settling and making those jumpers in the clutch vs. atl = fooms gold for Wall?

They've done this all season, nothing fools gold about it. Settling for a game winning jumper instead of running an actual play has been a Wizards staple for five plus years
And it's one that should've gone out the door with Randy Wittman.

It's also one of the reasons Brooks got fired in OKC.

The Wizards need to swiping at the ball and challenge IT by going straight up when he drives. The two best examples of them doing this resulted in two blocks compared to the numerous foul calls IT drew when they reached. They also need to stop helping off a three point shooter when they're only one pass away.

The Celtics tied a team record for threes in Game 1 and it took 53 points from IT and a horrible game from Beal for them to win Game 2. It's a shame they couldn't steal one in Boston with two sizeable leads in both games.

Seriously though...fall away jumper...falls right to Beal who had an even better look then John did...some one has to hit that shot.

But agreed on terrible last possession offense. Why don't we run a set....why is it always hero ball at the end. Like heading into the end of the game (like 14 seconds left?) when we drove and kicked and got Otto that open 3 that he hit. Why not work the same thing?

With the Celtics in the bonus, Wall should have taken it hard to the hoop on that final possession in the 4th. Even with being down 0-2, I still think the Wizards make a series out of this.

Beal looked awful. Hopefully there isn't some underlying issue with him. Wall can't shoulder the load by himself.

Might be in the minority but Markieff should have got the ball at the end of the game

Wall's legs were done it seems this is what makes Beal's bad night even worse. Wall uses so much energy carrying the team from the opening tip and he gets no relief. The second the bench comes in they fall apart and forces Brooks to throw Wall back in. At this point Brooks might need to give Trey Burke a chance if Jennings is ineffective, he can't do any worse.

Another thing that made me mad is they got IT in foul trouble EARLY yet didn't attack him repeatedly after picking up his second. I get they hid him on Oubre but damn, set some screens to FORCE him to guard Wall or Markieff.

I have heard it is Scott Brooks's fault for allowing IT is "hide" on defense and not putting him in pNr situations.

My thing is this. Why is it we blame the COACH when players don't do things? We don't know WHAT Brooks is telling those dudes on the sidelines, so to blame the coach is ASSUMING he isn't telling them to put IT in the PnR.

Many of those plays when you wanted a 1-3 PnR to make IT work, Wall or Beal were coming down taking quick shots (OT and 4th), so don't put that on Brooks.

I didn't mention Brooks at all for this particular point .It's on the player's awareness in my opinion, think of football I can recall several times when Peyton Manning knew there was a suspect cornerback on Marvin Harrison, he threw at him constantly. This is on Wall as the playmaker on the floor to realize this and force his will, if it doesn't work it doesn't work but you have to at least try and force Stevens to call a timeout and adjust

Sorry, I wasn't saying you were blaming Brooks. Your point reminded me of people blaming Brooks. Sorry about that.

Also worth nothing. Average Bradley showed up on the defensive end last night. Made it tough for Beal. Also, that rebound Smart got around Gortat, big play. Changed the momentum into the Celtics favor.

Didn't even think of this. The Wizards aren't outmatched here but we are being outplayed. We'll get back on track though

Wild game to say the least. Very happy with the way they played and that they came out with energy, but the extracurricular stuff was unnecessary. It could prove costly since Oubre might end up getting suspended now. Jennings NEEDS to stop instigating the second he steps on the court, it's getting old fast.

Oubre getting suspended would be a joke.

Definitely. He basically shoved and Olynyk flopped. I didn't hate the retaliation, to be honest lol. It's about time these kids step up and not back down.

Jennings on the other hand, smh.

I hope they don't suspend Oubre out bench cant take that

I feel like even the ref's are sick of Jennings. Like the Rozier thing didn't even seem that bad they were both instigating and it seems like the refs were just like great this again...just get out

I'd be shocked if Oubre wasn't suspended, he made contact with the ref and ran with a full head of steam towards Olynyk. He's gotta be smarter than that

i agree but i hope they just pass it off as "playoff basketball". Emotions are running high things are gonna happen especially these two teams that don't like each other.

But if the regular season is any indication of whats to come...he will be suspended

One point I didn't take into consideration was that Lopez/Ibaka were only suspended one game...and they threw punches.

However, Giannis got a game for running over Dunleavy a few years back, so I dunno how this one will play out.

The problem is there's not much consistency in these rulings (or with flagrant fouls for that matter). This ejection was somewhat reminiscent of Nazr Mohammed shoving Lebron to the floor a few years back and he didn't receive a suspension, but Mohammed didn't run full steam or make slight contact with a ref. The Wiz don't have the best history of dodging playoff suspensions in recent memory though with Nene and Songalia.
