True Religion needs a Prayer Vol. over 500Mil in Debt.

Never messed with True Religions, Girbaud, or any other predominantly "hood brand". Always messed with Levi's and occasionally Polo jeans.

I'll never forget about those

Those were everywhere 10 years ago
Really? Thought this was an early 2000's trend.

Levi's 501 CT (cut and tapered) is probably the best fitting jeans i bought ever.

Only problem with Levi's are their dyes. I never liked any of the colours.

they didn't start hood...da hood commandeered da brands, da brands got seduced to sky rocketing profits, said brands got played out in da hood, upper crust folks don't wanna be associated because of hood stigma, brand falters as hood moves on as locust to suck up another brand dry.

very few brands can directly cater to urban consumers and still maintain heavy relevance for a long amount of time or have a elongated legacy.

New Era, Pelle Pelle are notable outliers.

other brands that are popular in da hood dont directly target that demographic....at least not for a significant amount of time, because our consumer base chews up and spits out trends faster than a rubber outta a backpage thot's mouth giving $50 dome specials.

I see a Pelle once or twice on the train every week.

Accompanied by the latest GR Jordan/Timbs/Goadomes and those bomber jackets with the Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Porsche, Audi and AMG labels on the sleeve.
