How would you feel if someone proposed at your wedding?

I don't think America really has an obsession with weddings, more an obsession with having to ******* outdo or one up everyone else.  At least that's my opinion, kind of a keeping up with the jones' type thing.

Bingo. Its who can throw the biggest party.

Yup Its crazy to me
I have a cousin who was supposed to get married this past summer but her dude called it off (they're still together)
Then her older brother got married this last weekend and she was tight, like legit pissed that he was getting married before her. She didn't even go to his wedding.

She's probably more embarrassed than anything. She goes to his wedding with her man and everyone is gonna be asking what happened with hers.

Still messed up to miss your brother's wedding over something like that.

My little brother was married on my bday last year and his second child will be induced on my bday next year (out of their control) but I didn't trip when my mom asked if I had an issue with them marrying on my bday.

Getting engaged at someone's wedding is rude. I paid for all this **** for it to turn into a celebration for both of us? You comin off half. If you want to get engaged at my baby shower or some **** cool but not this day I planned for the last year or I'm wearing white too on your wedding day.

I agree, made a decision to not ever get married when I was young.
Did that when for my whole life, 32 now and still hold the same belief

For you never marrying dudes, do you guys just see yourself living with a girl you've been with long term or do you just see yourselves still dating at 64. Just the thought of weddings seem to be kryptonite to alot of folks here

Let the couple have there day. That would be selfish and super cheap. That's slick having an engagement party on someone else's dime so rude.

Dating yeah I guess, living with, nahh definitely not.Done that in my early twenties, don't like the cohabitation.

If God moves someone to propose to their woman, while at a wedding, who are you to have a problem with it?

Plenty females out there don't want to get married willing to co-parent.

@ 64 I'd hopefully have a stable roster for smashing if I want companionship. Other than that I should be enjoying time with my grandchildren and then w/e else I want to do at that age.

I'm gonna be asking the bride, so why not do it when she least expects it?

Never been to a wedding. Got a couple buddies who are on the clock.

Hell no. I'd be tight. Trying to shine at my bride's party... nah. I'd interrupt that **** and see them out.

What a terrible setting to propose. Lazy Cheap ***** mofo. Can't even be creative enough to propose at a sentimental place. hahahhahahahh

If you want to be the least amount of douche possible then at least do it at the end of the night when people are ready to leave the reception and already drunk.

It is a pretty ****** thing to do I always thought stu was an ******* for saying he was going to propose to that ***** at Doug's wedding in the hangover.
