Whats wrong with ESPN?

It's also probably the most expensive non premium package. As more folks cut the cord and pick what they view, ESPN will continue to decline unless they evolve. Plus we live in a world where a lil dude can make a record, then have a million views and radio spins the next day. Time for them to figure it out.

it's true but all the shows suck and you can only listen to that shhh for so long

we just want to see the games

I dont think ESPN is built for long viewing.

Purposely at that.

Exactly!

People just love to complain without being sensible at all

Guys are mentinoning 3-5 shows that are good. You mentioned the knowledgeable personalities....but yet ESPN is trash?

That's more than enough. How many networks at any given time offer as many good shows.

For a sports network that's more than enough.

Skip left and I noticed the decline in everything. Stephen A seems lost and doesn't have the clout Skip had when bringing in guest of the show. Max is very knowledgeable but has to play sidekick to Stephen A in everything including watered down opinions. Michael Smith is a **** boy, but his cohost @DCAllAmerican comes with interesting takes on topics when she isn't being biased about Michigan college sports. PTI lost a ton of great personalities. Fagan, Blackistone and Paige spew the same nonsense. Michelle Beadle has been bird brain, Marcellus Willey isn't as comical when he's not opposite Max. Only thing ESPN still has going for it is Midnight SportsCenter with SVP and 30 for 30

Stephen A should think about jump starting "Quite Frankly" back as well. With everything going on especially with black athlete's, a show of that caliber would be appreciated in this climate...

stephen a smith and his show became irrelevant last year when he stated that tony parker is a better PG than john wall..

had to stop watching after that nonsense.

Thats because FS1 isnt available to the common cable subscriber. You have to buy a certain package to get FS1, which also will give you other channels you dont even care for and will never watch so is it worth the extra $40?
ESPN.com lol its free and you dont have to buy a cable plan. Everyone has a phone and phone plans basically require data so you can use 1-2mb a day to see who won or read a lil article.

Internet on your phone or free internet in a library or something.

I cut the cord because we moved but i had been thinking about it for months. Now that we havent had cable for 3 months, I told my wife we dont need it. Between my folks and her folks both having it, we can use their logins for AppleTV and get the antenna that will gie you all the major local stations ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC, and a few others

I cut the cord back in 2014 and haven't looked back

they D ride Tom Brady.

I'm glad they are failing.

um...................has John Wall seen past the second round of the Playoffs?

lol please tell me you're trolling.

by that flawed logic. parker>CP3.
lololol ummmm............ yeahhh I mean if you're talking about Paul RIGHT NOW but even then I'm taking a proven PG thats seen the NBA finals multiple times and has been a finals MVP over the PG who has never seen past the second round....

That's because basketball is a team sport and the Spurs are and have always been a better team than the Clippers, so the Spurs make it further in the Playoffs.

People tend to hate in ESPN because they're the elephant but this is a trend that has almost all programmers shook.

Everyone will have something to point to to blame the ratings dip:

Bad football, Kaepernick, oversaturation, etc.

But the truth is this has been brewing for years.

da spurs..thats what u alluded to on why they lost.
You mean the average age of the spurs roster that year? I'm not following, @Foamposite XI mentioned that the spurs are always the better team and always go further in the playoffs. I mentioned 2015 first round playoffs because the Spurs lost the first round to the Clippers off of a go ahead banked layup from non other than Chris Paul. This the spurs fresh off of a championship too mind you. So the Spurs werent standing in the Clippers way, yet Chris Paul has still yet to see past the second round.

Espn was lit when I was coming up. Highlights for days... that **** is unwatchable these days
