Retro 4 Lasers Legit or Fake?

Hi, I bought these shoes as a present for my brother in law and just want to make sure they are legit. They look good, but the soles are quite sticky which makes me wonder. They did come with a copy of the receipt so i'm probably being a worry wort. However i'd rather be cautious than look stupid on Christmas.  Any help would be appreciated.
