Things to do in Chicago?

In before rip/stay alive/don't get shot. [emoji]128530[/emoji]

Coming out there in January. Aware me of some stuff to check out NT fam. Where should I avoid? What are some bars/restaurants that I should put on my list?

:nerd:

like most metropolitan cities there is a lot to see & not too many things that locals would recommend to check out that fall wouldn't be in the tourist guide, rather it is just choosing what is is you want to do/see. of course there are some less obvious things you could experience in every city but usually that requires someone to show you around &/or know what you are into...you could definitely just wander michigan ave area and be good & by january they'll likely have ice skating set up by the bean in millennium park (which is pretty cool to see in the evening even if you don't skate and don't mind being out in the chicago cold)...

if you do the museum thing and have a few days in the city definitely get the city pass, with it you can hit up most of the awesome chicago museums (though this is less of a deal if you don't have time) and both the sears (willis) tower & john hancock building observatories where you can see the gloriousness of the city grid...

if you haven't had chicago style stuffed pizza, give that a go at any of the aforementioned spots mentioned previously (peqouds & chicago pizza and oven grinder company are a bit out of the way but if you find your way up north and have time it might be worth a dealing with wait @ chicago pizza to try their pizza pot pie) or if you dig soul food there are a few spots west of the city that you could hit (definitely better to hit these in the daytime tho), other than maybe that (hitting the soul food joints) i can't imagine you'd wander around/into a neighborhood that was unsafe (and maybe around the museum of science & industry)

if you are into boutique shopping leaders, RSVP, and maybe boneyard chicago (expensive vintage sportswear) might be worth checking out too

I need to get out there one day, I have seen the pics of the food and it looks heavenly

Heading there in about 2 weeks. Any more suggestions?

I'll be downtown. Walking distance from all the bars supposedly.

Any good hip-hop bars/lounges? Rooftop bars? And other places in the city to meet up with females during the day?

Society in the west loop is a nice spot. Bobby Simmons, retired NBA, is one of the owners.

If you're downtown, you're already in the right place. You'll meet chicks just walking up and down the mag mile and throughout the stores. I've heard good things about the Godfrey and theWit's rooftops.

Let me know a few days before you arrive. I know a few promoters that can point you in the right direction that week/weekend.

Go to Chi A Lot: Some of my favorite spots:

Godfrey Hotel rooftop, The Wit, Studio Paris, Sub 51.

Cool chill place with you girl is called Ace Bounce, they have like 30 ping pong tables, beer pong, etc

Yessir! School is still there and looks exactly the same (it's a police station now) but football field has been torn down and it's just a giant field of grass now.

Almost all of the Sixteen Candles and Ferris Bueller spots still look damn near the exact same 30 years later

The home alone house looks the same too. Only Jewish people can afford living in that area tho

What y'all on tonight Chicago NT?

Again, in before the getting murdered/killed/rip jokes

You could check out the family matters house in North Chicago

And bring back some Chicago mix at garrets

what can"t you do in Chicago is a better question !

it is like NYC with nice people.

That's actually a really cool idea. I always wondered how some of those scenic backgrounds look in person. I still want to go to the full house in SF or the mall from back to the future
