Nike Lunarcharge Thread: Wide release 02/04/17

Qasa debuted in 2013 (and developed before that), so the whole talk about "dolces 3 year agreement " is irrelevant. I don't go to what's trending. I've been an avid adidas fan since 09. I made an account because I am wondering why would the first post in this thread would even put lunarcharge and next big thing in the same sentence.  Nearly every website I go to has a different opinion to it. I can see why your average Nike fan would say is nice, but adidas has models that look superior to it. If Nike is going to make something that looks exactly to an adidas sneaker, at least do it right. even the newest presto looks awfully similar to another y-3/adidas sneaker, but yes lets blame adidas for nikes newest sneakers like kwazi, lunarepic, vapormax for not being hyped well as expected. They still have their af1s and jordans to milk out of.
lmao as  expected, nike keeps milking their retros and af1 keeps on making air force 1 variations year after year. adidas has nothing to worry about in 2017

Except they don't have nothing new coming out

it's yeezy, nmd and boost or eqt that all...
EQT(which is miles ahead of tubularcharge)

Futurecraft

y-3

adizero prime

Honestly. Nike is the one who keeps on rehashing sneakers.  how many versions of af1s do we need to see? The best new Nike sneaker is a worse version of retro boost and won't get 1/4 of the hype the new sneakers adidas will get despite Nike having the superior marketing ? Why ? Because adidas sneakers are better. Even without adidas relying on ub nmd and yeezy, adidas has a solid collection, even superior to those 3 in 2017

I think these will be Nike's next big hit...

Don't think that hype train is ever coming. Well not as long as the hypebeasts are out there buying the same pair of ultra boosts and NMDs over and over again laugh.gif

yeah hype isnt gunna be on these right now, too many hypebeats are blinded by adidas. But rightfully so, those releases are only picking up and its like you dont even have time to look at other brands.
I'll be honest with you, lunarcharge is a decent sneaker, but if it were made by adidas it still wouldn't  be hyped. Had it been a part of the tubular series it wouldn't hyped as the most hyped sneakers of now. Its just not a special sneaker. Only way to get t his hyped if Errolson  made a complete make over  (he's a genius), but other than that, nah. You'll see in the upcoming months.

For the past year and half anything worth anything from adidas has been a rehashed version of an existing adidas shoe from a year and half. Ultra boosts, nmd, eqt. Switch mesh to prime knit, add a sock ankle thing, take away a sock ankle thing and vice versa. That's all any brand is doing now a days . Nike just has the advantage because they have a much much MUCH wider base of shoes that people actually like to alter and tweak. All the true innovation is in the high end lines like Y-3 in my opinion.

The fact that only a few models are creating buzz means That people aren't truly enthralled with adidas as a brand and they aren't taken by boost tech. Aka hype is driving the adidas buzz.

Ultra boost is not even 2 years old, while EQT is not even a year. So far we have seen roshe hi air max chelseas, jordan boots for example and its getting out of hand.  When was the last time Nike has made a new silhouette as good as EQT ADV? They would rather focus on adding flyknit to airmax or add a zipper on af1s. There has been multiple websites talking about the same stuff regarding nike
Sneakers like the LunarEpic Flyknit, Air Zoom All Out Flyknit, and the SB Koston 3 were touted as innovative, game-changing designs, and while they’re all nice shoes, game changers they are not. Along with other recent releases like the Free Mercurial Flyknit and Flyknit Magista, everything sort of starts to look the same after awhile. Not only that, but they’re not the easiest shoes to wear; they’re hard to get your foot into, and most of them only look good with sweatpants. It’s really hard to get excited about buying a shoe that’s basically just a Lunar Flyknit Chukka—w

EVERYTHING you just said is subjective. Doesn't change the fact that the ultra boost has seen 3 revisions faster than the jordan 7 birthed the Jordan true flight

Except everything I said wasn't subjective. Doesn't change the fact that ultra boost was one of the most sold sneakers last year. Hence why I said out of hand. adidas is making the new  sneakers every one wants

Everything in bold is literally your opinion

... guess I kinda came in at the wrong time, but thought I'd share. I've been eying a pair of these, especially the Light Bone color, but never got around to purchasing until now. The best part is in the second picture. =D Happy new year!

Guess someone must've returned them!

Just looked at the Nike policy. Seems like it would be annoying to go through them

Hit up chat... I've done it plenty of times!

Dope do they run a size bigger?

Dope do they run a size bigger?

From what I've read from everyone here in regards to general sizing, the 1/2 size up seems like the best decision as they seem to run the same as the Essentials from what I remember when I tried the Essentials version on. The outlet only had a size 9 (my 1/2 size up), so I can't really compare it to a true-size fit.

Conversations with you are pointless because you're clearly incapable of being objective.
I already gave you a set in stone response mate. Lunarcharge looks like poor mans retro boost and nike relies  too much on retros. With that being said  my subjecitive opinion  that is the main reason why lunarcharge won't be  too hyped because it looks too much of an adidas sneaker that wasn't too hyped to begin with. If Lunarcharge ever gets close to half of what ultraboost is hyped to, then ill never mention this again.

Just have Kanye or Jerry Lorenzo wear them and that'll happen.
