Do you hug other men?

Don't wanna make this a race thing so early but my white friends open arm hug, which I use to be uncomfortable with but I'm cool now.

Everyone else dap.

How many seconds tho.

Thats crucial.

And yall mean everytime u peace out or wat.

Also ya girl hugging other cats. Theres 2 types of hugs for that

Close friends that are like family. Not random people or co-workers or anything like that.

Occasionally with my closest friends.

Normally we just greet eachother with a handshake or what Obama did in that gif above ^

I do what obama did in the gif. Especially when my barber hits me with the clean lineup/cut :pimp:

A close friend I haven't seen in a long time, sure, but it's more like the Obama gif posted above.

nah, thats for mamis alone.
papi get da handshake, or da fist bump or just a fist to da face if they try and violate/

The homies yes. Especially the ones that I haven't seen in a min. Followed with a smile and talking ****

A bro hug is perfectly acceptable and a practice of mine. Pretty much just like Obama and KD in gif above.

I hug the men in my family and my close friends.

Sometimes we hug longer to make their wives feel uncomfortable.

If the dap doesn't come with the Obama hug, we not really friendbs or famb.

Seems like gestures between men don't really differ in the US from how we greet eachother over here.

What about greeting girls though? Over here we greet girls by kissing eachother on the cheek. Even if meeting eachother for the first time.

From what I hear from my interactions with foreign exchange students that's not as common as I would've thought in other countries.

Has anyone ever met someone who doesn't know this handshake?

I've met white guys who don't know this. I reach out and they just give me a high five? WTF?

All the other black/Hispanic/Asians immediately know the real handshake.
