And if they don't know the handshake or do a damn high five/fist bump, how do y'all recover from that? That's awkward right off the bat.
That's why I only do formal handshakes with white guys except for @Biggie62. I've even experienced weak, no-grip formal handshakes too. That's even worse.

Obviously not random people in the streets you have zero connection to but in most social gatherings with friends and whoever they bring along it's custom you kiss all the women in your group to greet them. When you leave too.

I tried giving my Dad a hug when I was 14 , I'll never forget the look of disgust he gave me. Last time I remember a hug was coming back from a deployment overseas
