dracula untold was fine to me but whatever.
i never knew all these old monster movies were in the same universe, that is interesting. mummy has my interest but the rock in anything else is over saturation. man is like air, everywhere

luke evans looked cool in dracula untold. His dragon armor design was piff.

Mummy Returns on Spike right now aand they're in the flashback where the two chicks are fighting and it's like watching Arrow with all the unnecessary flips

This and the first one was just fun because it wasn't taken too seriously so maybe that's the key if you aren't going to fully commit to an r-rated monster flick?

I also liked it because it was set decades in the past. The old style clothes, cars, and guns were cool.

Saw The Mummy last night (for free might I add) ...Yeah, I'd rather watch the Brendan Fraser version..Sofia was :smokin though.

the third one was pretty bad though, they should have known better when Weisz didn't want to come back

Mummy still projected at $35m, which isn't too bad considering the bad reviews and initial projection was at $40m.

They're really banking on Toms international stardom on this one though, I think it's pretty much where he's making BO in his films lately.

Yeah, would've been better to say her character died or she was somewhere else and brendan fraser and their son went on a father & son adventure. Also could've used jet li way better.

Monster movies for need to be rated R to be great.

I don't even know any great rated R monster movies.

Anyway I hear these guys are also adding Godzilla to this universe?

I mean I kinda assumed they weren't going to heavy on the horror angle, so don't think a R rating is a must

Pretty sure edge of tomorrow was pg13.. figure that was more the level they would go for.. essentially what the league of extraordinary gentlemen was going for, but not being crap

More action/adventure than horror monster

Thought Godzilla and kong and those type monsters were their own verse
