Is it bad to keep 3's and 4's deadstock?

I have some green glows and fire red 3's from 2013 that are deadstock - can I keep them on ice for a while longer or will just increase the chances of cracking?

They are sitting in the open in my closet.....

You'll be fine for a while but shoes are meant to be worn and will eventually dry out and become unwearable.
