Just read this in the comments section on DS....going to dig around to see if I can find anything that can corroborate what the poster said.
The word at the JP DA’s office and the courthouse is that there is video surveillance showing McKnight opening the other guy’s door and yanking him out of the car. This would implicate Louisiana’s “shoot the carjacker” law, which presumes that use of deadly force is reasonable and justified if the shooter is in his car and the other person uses unlawful force to enter the vehicle.
So multiple witnesses say otherwise, but a poster on there probably in a whole different state and not at the scene is in the know about what happened? Hmph
