So multiple witnesses say otherwise, but a poster on there probably in a whole different state and not at the scene is in the know about what happened? Hmph
 
Someone summed up the presser on Reddit:

Police press conference is happening now just ended.

Casings were found in the car. Did not stand over him and shoot.
Gasser shot McKnight from his car
Protestors trying to stop traffic urged not to stop traffic and protest peacefully.
No witness account of an apology from McKnight to Gasser.

Autopsy

3 gun wounds, 3 shots fired.
Right hand left hand, right shoulder, under right nipple.
The autopsy does not suggest that the shots were fired from above.

Press conference questions

The man that raised Joe McKnight used to be an officer at the precinct. The precinct has ties to McKnight's family.
Gasser did not used to be a cop.
Not being investigated as a hate crime.
No video of the incident at this time.
Question was asked about LA's stand your ground law and how it relates to the case. The police did not want to comment on that question.
Question was asked if Gasser's firearm was registered Gasser had a CHL , police say they are still investigating this.
Gasser does have a criminal record from an incident 10 years ago, not specifically mentioned what that was.

Very sad to hear this and sad that we are such a heavily armed place.

The fact that this guy isn't being held is downright disgusting. Imagine the situation reversed. Black dude would be either killed on the spot or imprisoned.

Yea as long as the law locks us up all the time for however long while they "investigate" no matter if the person ends up guilty or not the same should happen to white ppl as well ...that privilege back at it :smh:

The guy should be locked up while everybody talking bout what really happened, not at home chillin like he just ain't kill anybody ...n if that's the case the same should be applied to EVERYBODY That catches a body , but only certain ppl in this country is innocent until proven guilty applied to

That's how you know we're getting to the point where this whole thing is literally becoming the so-called "left vs right". You can observe the patterns of public opinion and almost instantly determine which "side" a person is on. I'm saying this as a person who doesn't identify with either side, nor consider myself as a member of ANY so called political side, relgion/group/movement, whatever. I'm just me. But they making the **** so that even if you self-identify with either side or not...you kinda do anyway...because the division is getting THAT wide.

So when you see these SAME exact dudes playing devil's advocate on particular subjects, you already know what they on. It's not just a co-incidence. 

This was arguably the biggest news story of the day, yet some dude on NT "knows a cop" that told him that the shooter's story "checked" out. Also, despite all public knowledge of the story from major media outlets saying one thing....another just takes the time out of his day to see if that may be true...and finds similar intel on Reddit. But he'll act like he's still not what he is by acting like he's "surprised" the shooter isn't in jail.

Sounds like they are more afraid of a conflict of interest than the actual investigation.
Dude should be held w/o bond seeing as he has had road rage incidents in the past.

Sad part is dude probably knew exactly what to say
"He came to my car and tried to pull me out and I feared for my life" or something to that effect.
They will evaluate his statements and line that up with the forensic evidence to make a determination of guilt.
And with the casings being in the car it is not looking good for Joe McKnight's family.

Still though, even if they do not find him guilty of any wrong doing(from a law perspective)
They should've held dude until the end of the investigation like they would anyone else.
They too busy trying to dodge a lawsuit.
 
I'm still befuddled at dude sleeping in his own bed the same night he murdered someone, but Sandra Bland ends up in custody and dead over a routine traffic stop. How does that work?

Pretty much with him having a prior history he already knew what to tell cops to get over on this..

its a he said she said type of ordeal especially since they claim they weren't any witnesses.

basically a big buff black dude in rage trying to beat up a old fragile white man....

seen it to many times in the streets man

My *** would have gotten the cocaine sprinkled on me at the scene and I'd be looking at $1million bail facing 10-20 years :lol:

Yep

And titanium tea doesnt even bother me because hes blatantly and openly racist, at least he's up front about it. It's all these other fake *** progressive posters that annoy me when they come in all these threads waiting for facts and looking for justification, instead of just straight up acknowledging the workings of white supremacy.
